LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
This review may be a little premature because I just put it on my kitten last night, but I'm so happy I have to tell everyone how wonderful this stuff is! I got the kitten when he was six-weeks-old. The poor thing was already infested at that young age. I tried the dishsoap bath and flea comb routine, but I couldn't get them all, so I took him to a vet to see if there was anything to do. The vet gave me Frontline spray, said it was safe for kittens as soon as they are weaned. Turns out it's safe because it doesn't do anything! At eight weeks old I tried a flea shampoo that was reputed to be gentle and safe for kittens. A few died during the bath, but that may have been from drowning, so I can't tell really how effective the shampoo was. So at nine weeks old the poor kitten is as infested as ever, and only weighs 2.5 pounds (I thought he had to be 5 pounds to use Advantage). My heart is breaking for the poor kitty, and frankly I was getting pretty tired of the constant vacuuming. So I googled Advantage just to see if they had something, and I found the drops for kittens! This product is fantastic! An hour after application, the fleas were literally falling off of him, dead and dying! That was last night. I don't see any on him at all this morning, but he's squirming and running around like a furry tornado, so I can't get a really good inspection in =) I use the drops on our grown-up cat, and he never got a single flea throughout this ordeal, so I'm very optimistic about the kitten drops! Advantage is much better than Hertz or Frontline!PS, the shipping was really fast, too. I ordered it late at night on a Wednesday, it was at my door when I got home from work Friday!

Anxiety Saving
Anyone that knows me knows that I have a major bug phobia. I check my bed consistently for bed bugs, I check my hair for lice (and I use shampoo and conditioner with tea tree oil to prevent any), etc. Well I brought home this sweet kitten against my better judgement. A lady brought kittens into work from a feral mom that she had found brought inside, had spayed after she had kittens, and released back outside. So here I am with the cutest kitten in my face that needs a home, so I tell my coworker give me a few days to gather up supplies and I'll bring her home. I immediately go on amazon and buy advantage II, because I used advantix for my dog, so it made sense to stick to the same brand. I bring the kitten home and treat her. Later that night I find fleas just leisurely walking around on my kitten. I freak out and put her in the bathroom and then I cry and start cleaning. Well the fleas are all gone, there are none in my house (I'm guessing they bit the kitten got poisoned and died like they were supposed to), and we now have a happy flea free kitten.I went to the pet store to buy more flea treatment for future use and I almost fell over with their prices. It is about $25-$30 cheaper on amazon compared to where I live. Even the generic flea treatment has a higher cost.

Love this product!! Worked great on our infested stray baby kitten!!
Incredible! Used this today on our little baby stray that wandered up last week. Tried apple cider vinegar sitting for 5 mins x 3 treatments last week which did ok but didn't get them all. He was miserably infested. This is the only product for kittens 2-5 pounds and it is awesome! Within about 2 hours of application the kitten started scratching like crazy and the dead or dying fleas were just falling off. I guess they got very active running for the surface of the fur when the Advantage spread on his skin. They were all barely alive, but still moving to the surface. None were jumping, they were just moving in circles like they were dying. I am so happy that there is a product for bitty kitty's like our Binx. I am almost guaranteed a flea free kitten in a few more hours. All other products for kittens say 12 weeks. I just weighed Binx, he was 2.8 pounds a week ago. Got it in today and that was it. No side effects, no issues! Just dead fleas!

Fleas, Be Gone!
About a year ago, we found and abandoned stray kitty. She was very tiny and covered in so many fleas we did not think she would survive. We bathed her in dawn soap to remove many of the fleas but had to wait for her to get to 2 pounds before using this on her.She was so small it took a long time for her to gain the weight required to use this on her.The fleas would not go away completely no matter how much we bathed her.Once she finally reached 2lbs, we began using this on her.Within 3-4 days after the first application all the fleas were gone.We continued monthly treatments until we used up all the product. She never had a flea since. We decided to keep her and she has remained an inside cat.I know should she ever get any more fleas I will get this product because it works great!

Works great, just not as long as you'd think.
We live in a sub-tropical environment, so we have fleas year-round, but we're in the middle of the roughest few months, when fleas are most abundant. We had recently added a kitten to our home, and the other cats were on a different product. But this kitten was only about 2 pounds and around 9 weeks. She was found infested with fleas, and the person that found her gave her a bath but of course, this isn't permanent. We applied Advantage II Kitten, and that same day, the fleas were dropping off in droves. It kept killing them... but only for about a week. I'm not sure if her metabolism wore it off, or it naturally wore off that quickly. But the poor thing had to suffer through more fleas. Finally, after the third week, I went ahead and applied it earlier than expected - she was infested again. And again, they dropped quickly. And... after a week, she was infested again. So, I recommend this as a great way to safely kill fleas on a young kitten that is infested, but don't expect it to last the 30 days it says it should.
