sharp and perfect
Great for sewing - has nice tips and stay sharp unlike others and grips are wonderful. No hand fatigue. I can tell the difference between the professional series level of scissors vs other levels.

Superb
I am never let down by Kai professional line. The best scissors you can buy for embroidery period. These are incredibly sharp, so sharp you have to be careful with them so close to your work. They're perfect for the job.

Best EDC Scissors Bar None
I set out to see if there was an EDC scissor that was: * Better than my best multitool scissors (Roxon KS2 Elite), and * On par with the 5.25" 3 oz Klein 2100 snips but more pocketable and more comfortable to use I set a length limit of 4.5.” I tested three different folding scissors (Fiskars, Nogent, Slip & Snip) and a number of smaller scissors from the Westcott 2.5” titanium scissors to a pair of 4.5” Singers and half dozen in between including a couple of Fiskars. I tested them on paracord, zip ties, dyneema thread, thin material and felt covered nylon strapping. Some were horribly uncomfortable. Some were weak at the tip. None performed as well as the Klein 2100 on all the tests except . . . you guessed it. The Kai 7100. And the Kai 7100 are an inch shorter than the Klein 2100, 2 ounces lighter and much more comfortable to use. Unfortunately, the Kai was the last pair I bought to test. If you are looking for standalone EDC scissors, don’t make my mistake. Try the Kai 7100 first. PS I created a little protective sleeve for the blades with a bit 3/8" heat shrink tubing.

Kai is a "cut above" the rest! WAY ABOVE!
I ordered the pro, 7000 series scissor, and just now ascertained what I got was the non pro scissor. The difference was so subtle on the pictured product, I didn't know what I received was the non pro model. There was no marking on packaging specifying 7000 series or pro series, but, because they looked like the picture, I assumed it was what I ordered. Then, I saw same scissor for $14.95 instead of $40.95. Confused, and feeling a little duped, i kept looking for a difference in the two, besides the price. I finally discovered the picture of the pro scissor, had a difference in shape of handle. The scissor I received was the $14.95 one, and the one I paid for was the $40.95 one. Since I recently received a nice letter from you, saying how much you appreciated my business, and I could list greviences with you, even past the warranty period , I wanted to let you know about this. If I, a sewer for over60 years had trouble figuring this out, I'm sure some stock person filling my order could inadvertently mistake the two products. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. I love "Kaia products, and plan on adding more to my collection. They are hands down the finest product out there. I could sure use the beefier 4 1/2" model I paid for. The lighter weight model works great for some applications, but I do need a little more help at times. What can you do for me? Thank you.

These are the best!!!! I’ve always loved the KAI scissors. I sew a lot and they are tough. These little ones are perfect as seam rippers, they are Sharp, or snips for your threads. They stay sharp for ever

Stay sharp for a long time but useless for embroidery trimming

First pair of Kai scissors I own that don't work well. The screw is so tight that the scissors don't work smoothly and need some force to open and close. I have several other pair from the 7000 series which have no issues. I expected better from Kai.
