For a workout or an away game, there is no better bag with a lifetime warranty out there. if you like to keep your gear organized and separated, there are 4 zippered pockets and a huge main compartment for the big stuff. the game-changer is the hydroshield base- it's going to be able to take a beating and hold up to the elements.

Durable Duffel for Gym and Travel
I bought my brother the Adidas Team Speed Small Duffel which is a great bag for weekend trips and gym goers. I am about to go on a 10 day international trip, though, and wanted a durable duffel bag that offered more space. I ended up choosing this one, and so far I like what I see. The exterior is stronger synthetic material that won't snag on hooks and can definitely take a beating. I bought the Medium, which is a perfect size extended trips. It doesn't feel small like the other duffel, but it's also not uncomfortably long like some bags. I bet you could sneak it on as a carry-on, but I'll be checking luggage anyway. The zippers feel very secure, and there are plenty of side pockets for small items. The shoe pocket is a plus if you want to throw in your running shoes or whatever. Again, I am using this for travel purposes but I'll probably use it for larger gym gear in the future. The strap is comfortable and can be removed easily. The grey and maroon styling is classy, making the bag look more professional than gym worn. If you're a coach and want to look good on the road, then you may be interested. My only gripe, like most of the other reviews, is the bag's actual dimensions versus what the tag says. Measuring from the base, the length is maybe 23 inches long. Whoever makes their tags needs to buy a new ruler. I like the size, though, so I'm not worried about it.All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. I've backed enough clothes for more than a week (plus an extra pair of shoes) with room to spare. Adidas is solid brand so I'd trust them over random Amazon sellers.UPDATE 5/1/17The bag worked perfectly for the trip and will fit as a carry-on, assuming you don't pack dumbbells. Amazing bag, can't wait to use again.

The pinnacle in gym bags!
This bag is awweessomme. Its a little larger than my last Adidas bag, but its so perfect for all of the things I travel with to the gym, giving me a bit of variety if I decide to change up things when I get there.2 Side pockets: One of the side pockets is for shoes. It will fit a pair of kicks placed on their bottoms. In fact it can easily fit two pairs of shoes, one sitting on top of the other. The other side pocket is your standard side pocket for whatever, gloves, bands etc etc..The main compartment is roomy and comes along with a small pocket on the interior for cards, keys jewelry etc.... It can easily hold whatever you have to carry. What I didnt realize until a few days of carrying it is that there is another compartment on the front of the bag that is the entire length and depth of the bag. Even more storage to put your not so bulky stuff in and stuff to get easy access too. This is an awesome bag!

Great bag!
This duffel bag is great. I currently have a pair of running shoes, typical tennis shoes, and a slim pair of shoes for leg day in the shoe compartment. In the main compartment, I usually have two ankle straps, a notebook, two knee braces, and a change of clothes. There's a little zipper pouch inside that works perfectly to store my wedding rings and a zipper pouch on the front which is the length of the bag that I keep my iPod, headphones, phone, and resistance band in. There is only one water bottle pouch but it holds my gym card and keys in addition to a water bottle so I don't really need one on the other side. The shoulder pad is nice because it has a cloth side and a rubber/plastic side for when I'm extremely sweaty and don't want to soak the padded side but I can also carry it by the handles if needed. It seems to be of good quality and aesthetically it's got funky zippers and a neat color combination.

Roomy and Aesthetically Pleasing
Needed a bigger bag to store all my gear. So far, the Medium Adidas bag fits:- 1 pair of large shin gear- 1 pair of 16 oz muay thai gloves- 1 A1 BJJ gi- 1 pair of running shoes- 4 pairs of hand wraps- 1 sweater- About a week's supply of sports bras, shorts, compression shirtsBag is roomy. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the design is aesthetically pleasing. I like the mesh side compartment, it's a great place to store wet/sweaty clothes after working out. There's a good amount of compartments for storing your smaller items, like baby wipes, keys, cell phone, etc. The only issue I have is the zipper quality. If you don't zip carefully, the teeth on the side compartments don't quite catch right. The bag is also semi-difficult to zip up when 75% full. Design flaw? Dunno. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with my bag and look forward to using it for years to come.

i love this bag
i love this bag. It fits all my stuff and i frequently carry shoes, sandals, multiple sets of shirts and boxers and socks, sometimes a computer, a large water bottle, toothbrush/toothpaste/rx bottles/lotion/shavers/wallet/eye drops/contact solution all in the side pocket. Pro tip is to keep silica packets inside the shoe and main compartment to keep it from becoming smelly if you are going to the gym a lot. i use the side mesh pocket to keep cough drops and somtimes a can seltzer i take from work to have on the way home (easy access). The only negative is that when you are carrying a lot of stuff it can get uncomfortable to carry but it's not the bags fault as any style bag with a over shoulder strap like that would get uncomfortable with a heavy load. overall i'm very pleased with this bag and have no complaints.
