My wife loves to garden and her go-to tool is always her pruning shears. She brought them to me to fix after the central spring that keeps them returning to the open position broke and fell out. I racked my brains for something that could replace that spring and fix her shears. Then it came to me--Amazon has everything, so I looked here and found these springs. It snapped in, in a second, and the pruning shears were perfect again. Made me look like a hero, just wish I knew what to do with the extra four spring in the package--I'll probably lose them before I ever need them again.

These springs do stick a bit but an ok replacement.

This was an easy, inexpensive fix for my father's 40 year-old pair of bypass cutters! The name brand equivalent set of bypass cutters would have cost over $80! There was nothing wrong with them except they were missing this spring! Great product!

Did not wish to purchase a new pair of pruning shears. However, I wish I would have known these would not have the tension needed to expand my shears. Will use them until i get tired of having to help the spring open the shears. Would not recommend these for someone with a lot of pruning to do.

These springs were perfect - they fit into three disabled pruners very snugly, better than their originals. I doubt these shiny, more densely wound springs will pop out and disappear in the underbrush as easily!
