Love It! Better than Expected!
I bought this projector for casual movie nights and didn’t expect much at this price point, but it honestly exceeded my expectations. Setup was straightforward, and connecting via Bluetooth was quick and painless. The picture quality is clear and bright enough for evening use, especially in a dim or dark room. It works well for movies, streaming, and even projecting photos. The fan noise is noticeable but not distracting once something is playing. It’s lightweight and easy to move around, which I really like. I’ve used it indoors and outdoors, and it’s held up well so far. Obviously it’s not meant to replace a high-end home theater system, but for the price and size, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Great option if you want something affordable and simple for movie nights.

Picture quality and easy setup
For the time ever getting a projector I would say it fantastic for watching tv and movies. Love the fact that it google tv projector. Made it easier going from a google Chromecast. Enjoying the bigger picture and quality. Also enjoy the bluetooth connectivity because the speaker are great but with a soundbar its better. Very quiet and light. Also easy to set up. Definitely recommend getting the screen with it. Great picture quality on the wall but get better with screen. Mount on the wall now just keeps getting better and better

I would give it a B, not perfect has room for improvement.
The picture quality is great when you get it focused. There are two different things to use to focus you will need to use both of them to get the picture to focus. Before I had it on a shelf I did have it sitting on my head board I noticed that with movement something from kids moving on and off the bed, or even if you feel asleep watching a movie and moved to much sometimes it would be out of focus the next time I would use it. I don't have that issue now that it is on a shelf. Connecting it to my wifi was easy, same with setting it up to a laptop or my phone. The only thing I couldn't seem to get it to connect to was a splitter to be able to charge my phone though the projector and be able to use it to stream at the same time without having to mirror my phone but connect directly into my phone . You can hear the fan a little bit with projector but that is expected with most everything when it comes to it. I just make sure there is enough air flow around it on all sides and nothing is blocking it so that it is cool. The speaker on the projector is okay. Mainly why I took one star off but it does have the ability to blue tooth. So when I want to watch an action movie or something that I want the sound to be basically movie theater loud almost I will either hook into my wireless speaker, or head phones if am watching it late at night. I like the fact you can change the contrast and the density with the colors. This allows you to customize what you are using it for. I mainly use it for movies an shows so I keep it on the theater setting gives me the best viewing for that. You also can adjust the zoom for the size of screen you want it to project to which you can see it adjusting while doing so its not a guessing game on the size you are picking. It allows you to fit it to what you are projecting on. You also can pick what type of screen you are projecting such at full, wide, 16:1 etc. I did hook a roku into it. That wasn't hard to do. The only thing that I had to figure out was when it asked you to pick what brand you were using to control the power and volume. I had to google that. I think I just randomly selected tell it let me move on from that part but once it did basically did the rest for me with the set up. Over all good projector. Cost is good. The speaker could be better. Knowing what to pick for roku or streaming sticks would be nice.

The best bang for your buck for an at home movie theater experience
I’ve never owned a projector so I was nervous about getting this one and being disappointed with the quality. But I was actually blown away by the quality of the image on this. It works best in a pitch black environment (at night or with black out curtains). It’s still viewable with lights on in the room but if you have direct sunlight coming in you can forget about it. I’ve connected this to my PS5 to try it out and what a game changer. I went from a standard 50 inch tv in my living room to over 100 inches of screen in the comfort of my bed. I get no input lag at all which was one of my biggest fears especially with FPS. But playing BF6 and ARC raiders I’ve had no issues whatsoever, except in really dark scenes but it’s tolerable. I only have 3 complaints. The first is the quality of the speakers. It sounds very flat and cheap like a speaker out of a kids toy. But you can easily pair up a quality Bluetooth speaker and adjust the audio/picture sync settings and it works great. It doesn’t bother me personally but if you don’t have a BT speaker keep this in mind. My other complaint is the dark scenes. You can’t adjust the brightness on this. But it is what it is for the price. Bright to even medium low light picture looks fantastic. But it can be sometimes hard to see anything when the scene is in a very low light especially with a light source in the room you’re in. My other complaint is the control. For whatever reason I can’t turn it on with the remote I have to reach over and power it on manually. Remote is cheap and you have to angle it at just the right angle to get it to work. Overall would I buy this again? Absolutely. You can’t beat this quality for the price. My complaints are to a certain extent manageable. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get a 100+ inch quality screen without spending a fortune.

Great value, keystone pretty useless, love this unit!
This Happrun projector is worth every penny. My last projector cost 4x as much and was only about 1/4 better in quality -- if that. Image quality is about the same, with the happrun actually beating out my old one considerably in noise reduction and sharpness settings. The haprun has better sharpness at the edges when I get it set up just right (see below,) but the top left and bottom left corners are still a little soft after doing everything I could to ensure a good setup. (Not a deal breaker for me.) The fan on this happrun is half as loud as my old one, which is great. The little hatch you can open on the bottom of the unit to easily clean the lens and screen is wonderful! I had to disassemble my old one to clean it, which meant there were often dust spots on our movie screen because it was such pita to maintain the machine. All projectors should be this easy to clean. The lightweight design is great. Not only is it portable, the standard tripod screw hole in the bottom makes it possible to just stick this on any tripod or light stand for quick setup and takedown. The speaker is actually loud enough to overpower the fan. I'll never use it because I use a soundbar or headphones. The speaker is tiny and sounds hollow but it'll work in a pinch of you need it. I only use HDMI so I can't speak to other connectivity features of the device. The one area this projector lacks in comparison to my old one is the keystoning feature. My old one offered four point digital keystone correction, while this haprun only features vertical keystone by means of a wheel. Yeah, you can use the wheel to square up your image if you can't get the projector level with your screen but I don't recommend it if you actually want to enjoy what this projector can offer. Any slight adjustment of the keystone wheel will make everything go out of focus from the center of the image to the bottom or top edge, depending on whether you're adjusting the top or bottom with the keystone. You absolute MUST get the projector level with your screen left to right because there is no horizontal keystone. If you move the keystone wheel, you may find yourself having a devil of a time getting your image in focus again because there's no markings printed on the machine to tell you where to return the keystone wheel exactly to center. I got mine as close to perfection as possible by adjusting the focusing wheel until the edge of the image that was NOT altered by the keystone wheel was as sharp as I could get it. Then I adjusted the keystone wheel until the opposing edge of the image was in equal focus. On my copy, doing this resulted in a sharp center as well. Once the image was in focus corner to corner, I just angled the body of the actual projector to straighten the image on the wall, ignoring the keystone altogether. To enjoy this projector most, you're gonna want to avoid using the keystone at all, which means you've got to have the projector perfectly level with the surface you project it on. I already owned a good tripod with a ball head mount that allows me to position the projector however I need to. If you don't have something to set it on or a way to mount it, you might not enjoy the image quality as much. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase! If you're on a budget this is a perfectly acceptable TV replacement for watching movies or cinematic shows that deserve a big screen. At this price, you really can't go wrong. You just need a way to mount it and a little knowledge on how to set it up to get the most out of it. Oh, also, I went over to YouTube and used "projector test patterns," to get mine into focus and to help me adjust the color, brightness, and contrast. I highly recommend using those. It'll make your setup process way easier and give you a better looking image.

Nice mini projector
The Happrun-H1 I received on 11-29-2025 must be a new model. It's really close to the description on the listing, but it does not have a AV audio output only a headphone out jack. The listing shows the unit dimensions of 9w x 7l x 3.5h and the one I got is 8w x 7l x 3h now this is not a big deal it just shows the item has changed. Now for the good part, in the box I received the projector, Remote(no batteries), HDMI cable, power cable and manual. I use a projector for part of my Christmas display and my really old mini projector could only display 640x480 at a tested level of 33 lumen(400 advertised) and 55in projection on the window at 9ft but still got the job done. The Happrun H1 with it's 1080p and 1920x1080 resolution in the same location put up a 88in diagonal picture and so much brighter and the colors are bright and vivid. I used my neighbors light meter to check the lumens of the H1 and it had 248, quite a step up from my old projector and the picture was quite clear and nice I was impressed with it for the cost of the unit. The menu is straight forward and very easy to use and the noise level of the cooling fan is low, well lower than my old projector. I only used the built in speakers for a minuet and they get the job done but if your using this for regular viewing a sound bar would be a good investment. The projectors ability to use so many different types of video formats is really nice as well. For the price I really do not think you can go wrong buying this entry level projector as my old one was almost $200 back in the day and I picked up the Happrun H1 on super sale for just over $50. And yes the image of the menu is reversed, I set it that way in the menu so the image would be correct in front of the home, if not any written words would appear backwards LOL...

Worth the $85
I searched google and saw buyersguide best home projectors for 2026. This was number 8. Also, best value and popular. It was $85 and had good reviews. I’m always skeptical because the negative reviews sound bad, these bad reviews are just user error or not reading the description good enough so the features don’t work how they want. Besides that, the picture is great. In a dark room it’s as good as a tv, if not better than some. With some light in the room, it’s still a good home projector. I had a home projector that was gifted and that one was horrible, when I thought that one was decent. In comparison this HAPPRUN Native is quieter, clearer, and definitely worth the $85. I don’t write reviews but $85 for this is worth it. I hooked up my Roku HD stick to the back and works perfectly. The Bluetooth is meant for speakers only. I haven’t connected anything else to the usb or to the HDMI. I couldn’t tell you if those work or don’t work if you try to connect a flash drive. I bought it today it delivered today and this is my experience in the past few hours. Next I’ll hook up other things to the HDMI and see but it’s worth it.

Solid customer service and decent projector.
Edited & updated review at the bottom. I had originally given this only one star. Here's the original review: Just terrible. 1st: It's not 4k, its 1080P but looks like 720 at best. Also, its very dim, even in a blacked out room on a high quality screen. 2nd: while trying to see if there was a setting to increase picture quality, all of about 5 minutes, it started to produce burn in artifacts. After another 5 minutes, it was completely useless. Literally unwatchable due to the picture quality being so bad. Maybe I got sent a busted one, but it was so bad, that I do not trust this brand at all anymore. Here's my updated review: Since posting this and sending back the product, I was contacted by their customer support. They assured me that I must have received a defective device and decided to send me a replacement. After receiving the replacement and testing it out I can honestly say it is pretty decent and definitely a really solid picture for the price of this projector. I still dont like that its listed as 4k when only the input is 4k, the output is only 1080p, but it does look great and I imagine the vast majority of people would be very happy with its picture quality. It is super easy to set up and the built in Google TV gives you access hundreds if not thousands of movies and shows. I could see this being especially great for travel and events as well. It's definitely not the greatest for a home theater experience, but if price is a factor for you, it is a really solid pick that will get the job done. I'm also very impressed with their customer service. If you ever have any issues with it, they'll definitely make it right.
