Aesthetically pleasing is the main reason why I bought this teacup. It is durable and the lip makes the cup pleasing to drink from (I also hold it at the lip to avoid touching the hot liquid). I use this particular cup when I want my tea to cool down sooner as I enjoy it. I would buy again.
