A great sticker reinforcement chart.
These arrived exactly as described. The size is good for me. Not too big. My daughter is in 2nd grade struggling with ADHD, and we decided to try this before resorting to medication, though that’s still a possibility. We just didn’t want to say “We’ve tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas.”Her teacher complains of not being able to get her to focus on her work. The school sends home her agenda each day, but there’s never anything in it but the occasional negative complaint like “had trouble focusing today” or “refused to complete her math drills” or “was disruptive during reading”. I wanted to help her, but I can’t just punish her every time the teacher says she had a bad day. She already hates school, and feels like she’s not good at it. I needed to find a way to reinforce the good behaviors, but her frustrated teacher was struggling to find anything good to praise or reward. Her exact words were “I have reinforcers (treasure box) but I can’t reinforce bad behavior.” 😓So I contacted the behavior specialist and sat down with her teacher to ask if they could help. I purchased this set and gave them to her teacher, asking if she could help me set up a reinforcement chart so I could reward my daughter and encourage her to stay on task, even though I’m not there. This is a work in progress, and her teacher has needed support from the school staff. She wasn’t sure how to use this tool at first, so the behavior specialist had to help her understand the purpose of this tool. But if you can relate to this, hear me. Don’t give up. If your child is feeling frustrated, defeated, and discouraged. They need this. For her, each vertical column is used as a day of the week (we just ignore the last two for weekends, unless we’re using them for her chores), and the horizontal rows represent a subject. So the teacher will split the day into roughly 5 subjects and if she gets 5 stickers in a day, she was on task all day. The chart gets taped to the corner of her desk and gets sent home every Friday. After so many stickers, we reward her with a sleepover with her cousin, or a trip to get ice cream. The chart is always a good thing. Never bad. We never use it to show her how bad she’s doing. We never use it to punish her. And she gets a new chart on her desk each week. If she doesn’t earn all her stickers, there’s always next week. We never say “Too bad. Better luck next time” but we say “Look how close you’re getting! Keep going!” So the stickers are always representing her accomplishments, and reminding her to stay on task. Rather than being a source of more stress.Be patient. Ask for help. Advocate. Adapt.*If your reward is too big or far away and your child is getting frustrated, break it down into smaller, easier to achieve rewards. This is why stickers can be more effective in motivating a student than grades. Grades are later. Stickers are now.Even simple inexpensive tools like this can be a game changer.

Perfect for potty training in the go
My Lil loves to get his sticker reward for potty training at home. And so I ordered these so that we can continue rewarding him while we’re on the go.These are the perfect size to fit in my purse. And I love that it comes in a huge multiple side so we can always have one on hand. We are going on a trip coming up in a couple weeks and going to pack a few of these along with the stickers. The card stock is really nicely printed and a good thickness. The stickers are super cute and have great adhesive easy to peel on and off for him.

Tiny charts
I guess I assumed these were going to be the size of a normal piece of paper but the star charts are tiny. They’re so small you can’t even write anything on them really…
