This scanner is better than my 350 dollar scanner
This scanner is incredible. How is it so cheap but so powerful? It has a very old clunky interface. 20 years old. It is slightly slow. Those are the only downsides. The scanner is very easy to use and with the software upgrades does lots of OEM functions. I was able to adjust cam retard offset to set a Chevy distributor. I was able to force on fuel injectors to test them with a fuel pressure tester. I found one bad injector without tearing my engine apart. If you want lots of diagnostics and ability to force things on and off, this is the scanner for you.

Tons of features, great product support, great price
I bought this for my 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 because I had to change my brake position sensor and it needed to be calibrated using this tool. This tool was able to calibrate it and much more, like clear out any pesky codes. It is easy to use as you just need to plug it in to your OBDII port and follow the prompts. There are tons of features so you get tons of value for your money, which is a double edged sword. The only downside is that there are so many features that there are a lot of menus to go thru with sometimes multiple ways to find and fix the codes. If one feature doesn't seem to fix the problem, you end up trying different methods using other menus. I had trouble at first getting the calibration to work so I had to contact their customer service both thru Amazon and to their product support email listed in the product manual. They responded right away after every one of my messages thru both methods. That tells me they stand behind their product and I understand why b/c their tool has been well worth it.I would recommend this product for both the OBDII scanner features and the GM software.

Quality Specific product
Purchased the SC530 OBDII scanner after reviewing other scanners. Liked that this model as Brand specific at a good price with numerous functions. The tech support answered all my questions in a timely manner prior to my purchase. Purchased the GM brand model to support two (2) vehicles, 2013 GMC Yukon and 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD. The scanner came on time with all the contents. The scanner was able to be used out of the box and both the scanner menu and the manual were user friendly. Used the scanner on the Yukon to run diagnostics easily and identify and clear some codes. Liked that the scanner can read the VIN of the vehicle directly and can check many systems on the vehicle. Also liked that can add another brand to the scanner for additional vehicles. Good purchase for DIY mechanic and would recommend product to others.

Versatile scanner. Great functionality.
I needed to troubleshoot some error lights that's popped up on the dash. Pulled DTC and was able access the modules that the codes were originating from. Active tests had all the information I needed to figure out the parts that should be replaced I stead of blindly throwing parts the car and hoping it fixed the issue.Great product for the price.

This thing is a piece of 💩
It will not reset a crank position sensor for a Silverado 2004 2500hd. 6.0 vin U LQ4 engine. Updated the software to the scanner after multiple attempts of trying to get it to work. And after the update it states no communication check for battery fully charged ect. This thing is a piece of 💩.. it read codes for systems that are not equipped in my truck nor ever have been. I don’t have rear audio but it scanned it as failed. Among others. Save your money and time. This thing was a waste of time hours for nothing.
