The best on the market
I’m a medical provider who recommends this product and use it myself. The quality is the same as the prescription L-Methylfolate which most insurance doesn’t cover. If you have MTHFR deficiency taking this WITH Folic Acid will help your medication work to the best of its ability. Talk with your Dr first obviously, but personally I can tell a significant difference in mood and overall wellbeing as it boosts the effectiveness of my prescribed medications. Excellent product.

Happiness is possible
If you have struggled with anxiety and depression, then this might be your answer. Many of us have a mutant mthfr gene, and methylfolate with vitamin b complex could be your answer. It was definitely mine.

Way less expensive
I have been purchasing this as a prescription medication for a couple of years for a family member. Accidentally discovered that Amazon had the same thing for less than half of what i had been paying. This bioavailable type of folate is sometimes recommended for people with anxiety or depression because It is needed to produce Serotonin and some people don't have enough folate. I can't say it if works, but the same was true of the expensive prescription. To save even more money, switch to this same product in the 7.5mg strength. Relative's psychiatrist said there is no evidence that the 15mg work better.

It’s saving me....literally.
I have been on antidepressants for 20 years. All of them came with horrible symptoms. I think I tried 10 in all. They were all SSRI’s and whether they caused worsening depression or horrible weight gain or rage or sickness, I could never find one that would work. So, I did some research about the MTHFR genetic mutation since my whole family deals with chronic depression and autoimmune disorders. After trying Lexapro for three years after my mom died and becoming a rage-filled overweight monster (gained 35lbs and lost it in two months within stopping it without changing diet or exercise), I figured that SSRI’s just weren’t for me and maybe the gene thing was the key.So, my psychiatrist (yes, my prescription pill-pushing psych doctor) actually prescribed this L-Methylfolate dosage (15mg) instead. I weaned off the Lexapro responsibly.I take it daily with 100mg of niacin to counterbalance any side effects and for better functioning of the l-methylfolate. And? I’m actually not depressed. I actually have some days where I feel alive and happy. Even being just content is amazing to me. Yes, it’s pricey and this brand corners the market for this dosage. I don’t make a lot of money and this is a big hit to my grocery account for a family of five.However....I’m back to my old healthy weight (5’8” 140lbs), not falling apart (or worse) and I’m getting through life one day at a time. I’ve had no ill effects since I started taking the niacin with it (I had some irritability issues). Everyone is different though, some people’s bodies absorb it great and don’t need anything else. Some take SAM-E with it. Do some research if you have side effects before giving up on it.I went through a period where I did only herbs like Skullcap, Passionflower, Ashwaghanda (recommended), St. John’s Wart (barf), Omega-3/Fish Oil (recommended), Valerian Root, Kava Kava, Magnesium (powder and spray/recommended), blah blah blah......and all of it just wasn’t enough. It wasn’t taking away that darkness, ya know? Now, I’m not a doctor and legally can’t give advice (obviously).....but if your story sounds similar to mine, then I say give it a try.Be patient with it and with yourself. Let your body adjust to it. Don’t expect a miracle on day one. You wouldn’t expect the same with antidepressants or vitamin tablets if you were anemic. And? Don’t give up. Okay?
