I wanted to use PVC in my aquariums for tube areas with certain fish. Bought this pipe cutter with a PVC pipe that arrived today. Was super easy to use and did a great cut.

Cuts clean and works well for PVC and PEX pipes up to 1-1/4”. The ratcheting mechanism makes cutting much easier and saves hand effort. Feels sturdy and gets the job done for basic home projects. The only downside is that it can be a bit stiff at first and takes a little time to get used to. Overall, a solid tool and good value for the price.

Why didn’t I buy these sooner? These cutters are awesome and super sharp. I’d been fighting with an old pair that had a dull blade, and once I saw how much replacement blades cost, I decided it wasn’t worth it. The big box store prices were almost double, so I’m really glad I checked Amazon first. These are all metal and cut Schedule 40 PVC like butter, so I’m sure Schedule 125 will be even easier. For about half the price of other options, I honestly look at these as almost throwaway tools—and that’s a good thing. Highly recommend.

Worked great on cutting pex in rv.

Did a great clean job cutting my plastic pipes. It's relatively cheap too! I don't need to use a saw to cut! If you look at the photo closely there is a cut in the white pipes, it at so smooth you can barely see any creases

This is a great pipe cutter at a good price. I should have bought one of these a long time ago, it's so easy to cut pipes now. I've cut Pex, PVC, and 1/2 inch irrigation tubing. It's a ratcheting cutter, so it takes a number of pumps to cut through a pipe.
