Truly a piece of art in our home -Easy to screw base onBase is properly weightedQuality of light enough for a room at high and still lights room on lowest setting, “gently”. It’s better than expected.Cons: A small portion of the light strip is not entirely inset at the bottom where it makes its initial bend. There’s too much tension to push it in. HOWEVER.... it’ll never be noticed. It does not effect function and goes unnoticed. I only saw it because I inspected the lamp thoroughly.When not using this as a lamp, i unplug it and wrap the cord on top of the base. I have it set atop a slow rotator, so that it becomes a moving piece of art, slowly transforming from an infinity loop to the smaller loop up top, to the smaller loop on bottom ....very calming. Makes us smile. Wonderful addition to our home.

Love this lamp. The lamp is too short in my view to use as a floor lamp and I have it on my desk in my home office at the outer edge in the intersection between the desk and the "L" desk extension. I am in the software industry and work in the office a lot at night. I have two computers and I can switch between them by rotating my chair 90%. The lighting problem has been that I have two big 25" monitors for each of the two computers that are eight inches in from the edge of each wing of the desk. Other desk lamps cast shadows at night because of the monitors that made the keyboards and desk surface less then fully illuminated. Because of the shape the light emitting elements of this lamp (all the way up and down the double helix), the light is coming from many directions and both keyboards and all of the spaces on top of the desk are illuminated. Also, because the light is distributed up and down the helix no one spot is too bright interfering with vision even though the total light output is quiet high. Looks cool on my desk too and visitors have commented on it. I highly recommend this lamp for desktop or tabletop use.

This is an interesting looking lamp that, not only is an accent piece, but works well too. It has 3 different settings that all give off a decent amount of light.I DO wish that there was a taller version of this style, as it is a bit of an awkward height, but, I knew the dimensions and bought it for the look.This floor lamp would probably not work well as your only electronic light source in a room (unless you wand accent light only), but for a secondary light, it works wonderfully.Shipment was well packed and it was easy to put together. The lamp and the base are 2 pieces held together by 2 small screws you put in yourself. It came with the appropriate size Allen wrench and an extra screw.

This lamp is everything I wanted and more for a table lamp. I wish a larger version existed for the floor. It adds great light to a dim corner of my living room. Plan to buy another soon even though I don’t have a place for it yet.

I'm actually about to return this lamp. I read all the reviews I could on it, and thought it would be great to have something both functional and cool looking. However, in practice this didn't suit my needs at all. I'm trying to light up a relatively large living/TV room and was hoping this could throw enough light across at least half of it. While it does indeed look like a curious lamp, it simply didn't produce enough light for me. Also, the color temperature of the light is very white which gave my room a colder, sterile feeling. Not too mention the twistiness of it introduces some slight shadows that may be nice for ambience, but not as a primary light source.The foot switch seemed to work well, but I wish this had an actual dimmer so I could set the brightness. Also, it would be great if I could change the color temperature to something warmer. It wasn't as tall as I expected but that's my fault for not breaking out the measuring tape after reading the description. Though this is described as a floor lamp, in reality it's more of an end table lamp or a decorative light.Another thing to note is the value. I paid about $70 for this lamp, but had it been $30 I probably would have kept it anyways. I don't feel the plastic construction and small base warrant such a price, so buyer beware you're paying a premium for a "conversation piece"

This lamp has three brightness levels. It's perfect for when I'm working or just reading, plus it's got a very nice look. Definitely worth waiting for.

I've had this lamp since 2019, it's 2025 now and it still works flawlessly. Its the only light source in my converted to an office den and its on 7-8 hours a day.
