I especially bought this for the do it yourself solar section. The added bonus was for the chicken coop. This was actually a present for my husband, as I always have ideas of things for him to make me,rarely do I have plans. The directions are easy enough that I think even I could figure it out and do the solar myself.

Ordered this to add to our collection of homesteading/self sufficiency books. Nice cover on it and there are some good plans in it for solar projects and also for a wind generator. Look forward to trying these out. Very pleased.

The book arrived promptly, in condition as described. It is a good book for those who want to 'do-it-themselves' even if you're not too concerned w/ getting "off the grid' . Thank you for upholding your word.

First checked out this book at my local public library and fell in love with it. Now I have this copy, LOVE IT!!

This has been one of the best DIY books I've ever read! vary easy to read and follow along with tons of great color photos.

was really needing more than just a few projects, I was thinking that there was going to be more projects that would help reduce my footprint in different living situations.
