The product is great, looks super heavy duty and well built. Unfortunately I realized too late it was not what I needed as my truck is too high for this hitch and sending it back will cost half the amount I paid to get it.

Curt is always a good choice. You can find less expensive, but Curt consistently puts out quality and well engineered products.

Perfect.....hitch insert is SOLID steel not hollow. I towed my Ford Focus on a U-Haul Pull behind from shop home. No problems. Felt secure about my load with the solid steel Hitch insert. I know hollow would have worked, but for the price I wanted the strongest.

SOLID not hollow which is why I bought it. Looks great and good for anyone rear ending you.

I believe this is the best one on Amazon: solid shank, full tow ratings for little additional cost. Perfect workmanship: none of the weld, alignment, or paint problems reported with competitors' models. I was considering a product that allows easy swapping of balls, but they sound like a hassle and cost a lot more.
