good for in home gym

We let these off gas in our garage for 2 weeks before putting them in our basement gym. I would wait a month or longer if you can. We couldn't bare to go in the basement because of the odor being so strong. It gave me a headache and I could not workout. I think the nature of the material causes this and it's not to any fault of the brand. We couldn't afford a higher quality cork for example so it is what it is.They are comfortable and durable and easy to put together so all and all a good purchase.

So excited for these!!! Had cheap foam ones prior and between dogs, a baby, and constant jumping on them, they would not stay together. These mats feel strong and sturdy and gym my home gym/ office a real gym feel, minus the gym smell!

These are foam tiles with a rubber surface. Installation was easy and the two different sides ensure that you can accommodate any tile configuration with straight sides.Tiles look great and feel great. They have a nice cushioning effect when working out. Good dampening when dropping weights.Only one drawback. These foam tiles will compress and stay compressed when heavy equipment is standing in them for too long and they will NOT bounce back, leaving a permanent depression in the rubber surface. I had a rowing machine sitting on the tile for 3 days and the depressions it made will not come out after moving the machine.These tiles are great gym and workout floor but they are not suitable for accommodating heavy weights or equipment without permanent compression damage.PROS:-great price-easy to install-great cushioning for workouts-look amazing with durable rubber surfaceCONS:-underlayer will permanently compress under heavy weights or equipmentWould give 5 stars but the compression issue is a long term issue if you have gym equipment or heavy weights.

Good quality, packaged well and looks good!

I liked the quality of the tiles. they could always be less expensive.
