My CPU Runs At Room Temp
I use an air-cooler on my i9 12900K CPU, and in my research it seems most 12900K CPUs run about ~30C at idle without this LGA 1700 CPU plate, whereas mine runs about 24C at idle, and under 65C during heavy gaming using a Noctua air-cooler. I don't have any before & after numbers because I installed this during the build because I heard the CPU can bend over time with the stock mechanism after many heat cycles. When installing all you need is a good snug... a bit past finger tight... and from what I've read the machining is so precise that you really can't install this thing wrong... just use common sense and don't over torque it and strip the threads, or crush the motherboard's PCB.

These are great Contact Brackets.
I have bought 5 s of these contact brackets in the last 3 month, I use them on every LGA 1700 build I do. They help against overheating CPU's and help to keep 13 and 14th gen CPU from bending fromgetting hot. I've also notice about a 5 degree temp drop in the CPU while using these. I also us an AIO in all my builds.

Huge upgrade for little price tag
I'm installing this on an overclocked i7 12700k. Prior to this upgrade, it was very difficult finding the thermal headroom to push this 3.6 ghz processor past 5 ghz without water cooling or other expensive additions. With this, my core temps have dropped a minimum of 8 degrees C under heavy load, which is absolutely massive for a single part. I need to work out some of the voltage issues to maintain stability, but I believe I can probably get my CPU to hit 5.2 ghz without hitting my thermal caps. And even when my computer is not under load, there is a very sizeable difference in how cool the chip runs now.The part is also incredibly easy to install. Extremely low risk, low cost upgrade that will get you some measurable FPS gains for modern gaming. And if all of that isn't enough, the Thermalright BCF will extend the life of your CPU over the stock ILM with the reduced stress bending of your CPU lid.Included is a screenshot of my computer at idle. The max temperatures were hit when Playing Spiderman Miles Morales, which is a fairly CPU intensive modern game on 1440p on high settings.

Bracket great, "paste" useless
Went on perfectly only issue was the "paste" it came with wasn't paste, it had dried. So I had to make a trip to best buy in the middle of putting the bracket on to get some paste.

Essential
The Thermalright Intel 12th/13th Gen CPU Contact Frame is a must-have upgrade for anyone looking to get the most out of their processor. Built from solid aluminum, it provides better and more even contact compared to the stock ILM, helping to reduce temps and improve overall stability. Installation is straightforward, and the difference in thermal performance is noticeable, especially under heavy loads. If you’re serious about cooling and want to maximize efficiency, this contact frame is a no-brainer. Thermalright nailed it with this one! A real value for money.
