1 Year review
1 year review- Awesome microphone, for the price you can’t beat it honestly. the LED is awesome on it; although you cannot change its colors. Hopefully in the future they will tweak this and Make software for their lighting Gear. The microphone sound obviously isn’t going to beat a blue yeti, or a hyper x for the price; mainly just talking about the background sound it picks up, which can be fixed with software. But if you run the gain low and have the mic close you’re set. the Sound interface in the mic overall is pretty good i couldn’t have any complaints like i said the price is amazing for what you get and you can seamlessly adjust with the knobs on the mic which is a huge plus. Overall, I’ve just loved the hell out of the mic as it features the push to mute and hold to turn off features as well. If you just want a cool setup and you’re not making content get this mic for sure. If you’re trying to make content on a budget, use software to fix the background capture sounds. However my mic is still going strong standing for over 30 dollars So i think it pays for itself.

Learning Proper way to set up hardware/software made great
The media could not be loaded. One mistake, I sat my phone on a wireless charger while recording which created an awful background buzzing. This I discovered on my own, but all my other discoveries were thanks to google and youtube searches. Don’t just think your first experience is the only results possible. Through research I now understand how to use all the same equipment as my first failure to get high-quality results. Here are a few things I learned; The iphone lightening port provides around 100mAh of power while a computer USB port provides 500mAh of power. My recordings plugging the mic directly into my phone were choppy and seemed to skip. To use an ipad or iphone, you need a method to supplement the power to the microphone. The method I used, I plugged my microphone into a powered USB hub, and using the lightening to USB adapter I plugged the hub output into my iphone. My first attempt at recording using my iphone I found using the memo recording app it wanted to use my phones mic instead of my digital external mic.I could not find a method to change the mic input in memo recorder, but I did find that by using the garage band recording app that came with my phone and computer I was able to switch the input taking advantage of the superior external microphone.Probable my last discovery I googled methods to record podcast. I think all the best podcasters use some type of software similar to MacOS garage band and apply several filters to improve the voice sound. This is a great microphone. It’s all metal case and stand and look and feel great. For me I plan on using it on the road. A plus is the box comes with stiff static-free foam that makes it the perfect travel storage for my mic.

Excellent mic for beginner to intermediate
I've gone through quite a few mics in the past few months and so when my previous one broke I was on the hunt for a new one. Zealsound is BY FAR the best I've found in terms of quality for price. It's worth it! 100%. The features as well as smooth functionality of this mic are really what sold me. Super clean and crisp sounds with little to no background noise. You can't even hear my dog bark. I keep it about 16 inches from my face because I need space to work and it picks up sound so amazingly with minimal effort on my part. The mute feature is also incredible. Swipe or tap and it's that easy. I also really enjoy that the headset volume and gain are two separate diodes which allows me to really hone in for controls.Honestly really enjoy this zealsound mic. Absolutely love it.-Natalie Baker

Good mic for recording
It’s a good mic for recording but my only concern is that sometimes when I play games, according to my gaming buddies, I sound muffled. It could be the sound system of the game but who knows. I use this a lot for recording songs and it’s really good!Gaming wise, I guess also invest in a good headset to pair with the mic because I got a cheap one and I guess that also explains why.

Never worked well plugged into iphone
I bought this because it would record to an iPhone but the sound quality was never much better than my iPhone 13 microphone and then after using it for a couple times I started to get a high pitched whine on the recording. It may be user error but there aren’t many options to troubleshoot as it’s just a plug and play. Was using it to record myself learning the guitar. Did not work for my use case at all. Looks like I’m past the refund window as well. UPDATE - good service from the company they’ve reached out to try to help with the problem.I used the usb/iphone adapter with this product with a different mic I have for work and it seemed better so I might just move that mic back and forth instead of trying to find another one since this is a sunk cost.

Great quality with iPad Pro 6th generation
I was very pleasantly pleased with the ease of using the mike. I simply plugged it into my iPad and was able to record without adding any additional software. I tested it by speaking normally and even by whispering and it captured my voice perfectly. I am not an audiophile but the quality sounded great to me. I bought this mike because I’m recording a weekly class and making them available in my web hosted video and audio archives. The only negative comments that I had was that at times the audio would sometimes drop out. From my tests, I believe that this mike will eliminate this problem at an affordable price.

Nonfunctional
Just unboxed my product and it already is not working with my iPhone. The USB-lightning is too loose and has to be manually held to remain connected. No sound coming through to iPhone as well. Virtually useless.

Good Microphone -- No Issues
This microphone works well and is easy to store away. The sound quality is great, and I've had no issues with any of the parts. Would recommend.
