Great product, but make sure to take it on a full stomach.

Zinc & copper are vital minerals, but you can easily throw of your electrolyte balance by not using correct ratios. Endocrinology research (sorry, can't add link... use pubMed dot gov) validates Zinc: Copper ration at 50mg : 2mg. That's the ratio here. For immune defense, I take 1 2x day with other electrolytes. (K2, etc.) BTW: "anemic" friends, Zinc & copper may be your sticking point if taking iron isn't bringing up your H&H. (But you need ferritin, folate, vit C, B12 & other stiff, too... so don't assume Zinc immediately. I find these to be very helpful for energy and immunity bolstering. I’ve needed copper supplements since i was a little girl. Mom was told that copper helps the body metabolize iron in the food. I cant take iron in supplements. These are perfect and high quality like other NOW products.

My husband was taking these for a long time, I have not. I may now be suffering from copper deficiency(?). None of the many supplements I take have copper. I recently learned that taking Vitamin C, zinc, and iron actually takes away the copper in your body. I just ordered a bottle of these for myself and will take these daily. I'm hoping this will help with the problem I developed... (doctor appointment is two months away before I can learn what's wrong with me...) :-(
