Q: Can you cut the panels in width to make it from a 4' wide panel to a 3' wide panel??

I guess you can if you have a decent power saw to cut the panels cleanly and uniformly. The panels slide horizontally down so your measurements would have to be exact for each panel to fit and a clean non jagged cut...I wouldn't risk it ..it might crack panels but you never know. Good luck

Q: How can you and a gate and do they make a gate?

They don't make a gate and the post is not sturdy enough to support any kind of weight

Q: Has anyone tried to use this to hide their pool pump and filter? If so do it help cut some of the noise down?

I can see it used for that but I can't see how it would cut down on noise because there is little to no bulk or substance to the panels

Q: are the stakes removable ?

The stakes come loose in the kit..they are 20 inches long and you leave 6 inches above ground and slide the post onto them then install the locking screw
