Working out perfect! Makes the drain look shiny and new, plus easier to clean than my mesh one, which also deformed somehow and started lifting when water was draining, allowing hairs to get under it (which I now have to fish out, as I didn't realize what had happened!) The mesh one didn't have as nice of a "chrome" (hope it is stainless!) ring around it either. I really don't know what happened to the mesh one, I suspect a teenage mancub or a kitty cat playing in the tub. But the same thing can not happen to this one. Jury is still out if it drains any different. I have only used it once so far and didn't notice anything. The mesh style clogs faster because slime (yuk!) plugs it more easily. Will update if drainage is an issue... I wish I could find the same a little smaller for my sinks. This will not fit.

I don't really use the big metal plug things in my bathroom sinks because they're clunky and they just get in my way. But I lost an earring down the drain once, and I'm always worried that I'll lose an air pod or something else while I'm brushing my teeth.I had bought a different kind of bathroom sink strainer before, and they were really annoying to clean because the "net" part was made of flimsy metal mesh. The metal mesh net part bent out of shape, rusted, and broke in spots, so that it would poke me when I tried to clean them out.These are great and they fit the standard bathroom sink drain perfectly. They even catch hair. They're easy to wipe clean, and they look nice. Just clean-looking, shiny metal.

This is a great little drainer for your tub to catch hair or soap scum from draining. Easy to clean. Just pull out the hair and rinse it off and put it back and let it do its thing.

For a the past several years I had been buying wire-mesh hair catchers for my shower. They functioned well for a while, but always started breaking within a few months and then I would have to buy another one. This hair catcher functions just as well but seems much more durable. I have had it for over a month now and it does not seem to be showing any signs of weakness. It fits the standard size drain in my shower perfectly and seems to be catching all the hair. The only “negative” is that it does fill up with hair rather quickly, which can block the water from draining. However, I don’t think that is such a bad thing. I just reach down and empty the hair into a small trash can that I have placed next to my shower, and then put it back into the drain to continue my shower. The fact that it is filling up means that it is catching all the hair, right? I suppose they could have designed it with a deeper cup area, but I suspect that might cause it to not fit properly in the drain. Therefore, I conclude that it works well, seems very durable, and I can live with needing to empty the hair out once during the middle of the shower, and again at the end. That used to often happen with my old wire-mesh hair catchers as well.Seems to me like this is a solid product that works well.

We find these little drain strainers to be very effective in our bathtub drain. It really blocks out a lot of hair that would normally go down the drain causing blockages. The stainless steel color matches and looks nice with the tub drain. It is very easy to remove for throwing out hair or debris. The size was just perfect for our tub drain.We would purchase these again for sure. They save a lot of potential headaches and plumbing bills.

Ok, these little guys are great! Got them to help when I bathe a double-coated corgi in the tub during cold weather. Worked great. THEN I left it in for my daily use and it catches SO much!!! So worth the cost!

I had been using a mesh strainer type drain cover and hair catcher, but the soap residue from my showering clogged the strainer and I was ankle deep in water by the time the shower ended. This nifty little stainless steel cover fit perfecting over the drain and did a great job of catching my hair while allowing the water to flow freely. And you get two (2) at a very fair price. Recommended.

It is nice that these drain plugs come in a pack of two so that they can easily be switched out when needed. I have long, thick hair and these work well to catch all of it - I don't have any issue with hair still getting down the drain. I gave them only 3 stars because I do not think they clean out well after each shower, and the bottom gets easily covered with grime and dirt build-up that causes the water to drain really slowly. I would say that I need to really deep clean them once a week or so.
