Fixed a PA head that was shutting down when it got warmed up. Then the output on one side quit working. So it goes. Off to the dump it went. But the fan works!

Fan are great and easy to install.

Old fan was noisy. This one nice and quiet.

I used this to replace the fan in my computer power supply - Which is typically the first thing to fail in most cases. It required a 2-wire fan of this size. Ball bearings have longer life than the other types of fans but they make a little more noise. Also in replacing the fan I went for a bit more airflow and a bit higher current. This fan does indeed move more air, but it’s noticeably more noisy. That is the trade off - For the same size fan opening, higher air flow means more noise. And ball bearings mean longer life but a slight increase in noise. In this case I can live with the noise. Note that in my power supply, the fan used the same connector but was polarized oppositely. I did not notice that at first and the fan did not run until I had corrected for my application’s aparantly non-standard polarization by swapping leads in the connector. That’s not the fan maker’s fault - but look and compare closely the polarization of the fan leads of the new fan verses the one you replace. At least the fan was not damaged by initially being installed with the polarity of the supply reversed. Good: Inexpensive ball bearing computer fan - Which should last. And ball bearing fans can be operated in any orientation without it affecting life. Trade off: It’s a bit more acoustically noisy.

I used it to vent a laser printer enclosure. It maintains a reasonable airflow and is quiet enough.

I used these in a enclosure where I had some cell phone amps. They worked really well for about a month. But then one went down and three days later the other went. I didn't lose any radios but it was a close call.

Loud, and the ball-bearings don't sound particular even. A waste of money

These are great little fans, they are extremely quiet until they hit around 80% power. I bought these as a personal project building an extractor system for my log cabin. 2 80mm fans do a great job and are solely powered by 1 10w solar panel and connected to a speed controller. Theyre great for my needs and Im thinking of adding a couple to my gaming PC too.

写真は交換前です。新しいファンに変えたら少しは静かになりました。風量も十分です。セットの風切り音があります。ミーン♪とファン回転ノイズは感じにくいです。ツインだと性能が落ちた時、判りやすいはず。用途的に満足してますが風切り音がきになったので風量の少ない静音タイプに変更しました。このファンは5vあれば静かに動いてくれました。ACアダプターで据え置き型ファンとして使っています。
