Love this. I got this for my mom's 12 foot window. Exactly what we needed. Very sturdy, looks fantastic, easily supports 4 blackout curtain panels for a 12ft window. Slides with ease. It does come with wall anchors if going into plaster walls, which i could see might be a problem with the weight of the curtains but all window have wood frames so just make sure it is mounted on the frame just use longer screws (not included), I used the screws included because I was going into a wood wall. The only down fall I could see would be if you had an odd size window, these rods are only adjustable to maybe 9" because each rod piece is , I believe 18" with one piece 9" for a slight adjustment if needed. In my case, I did not need one if the18" & the 9" piece. I definitely would recommend this product. I will be ordering a few more to replace some of my lower quality curtain rods because I like hanging plants on them in my windows and these rods are durable enough to hold my 5 hanging plants and cutain.

The sections of the rod that screw together let you adjust the length of the rod to just the right size. The brackets can be adjusted, too. Well-made and durable, not too heavy and not flimsy. Easy to install in minutes if you have a power drill for the bracket screws. Slightly shiny and looks good. The metal rings on my curtains slide easily along the rod.

I love these rods. Purchased 2.Other rods a smaller rod fits into a bigger rod and no matter how tight you make the little rubber connection between the 2, they always move around. They are good for applications where you will not be pulling the curtain open and close on a daily basis.This rod is perfect. It does not have that movement when opening and closing curtains. I love the heavy duty material because it does not sag on a wider window application.One improvement that I would make, and this goes for all rods, is that there should be some kind of rubber protector/stopper where the bracket screw meets the rod. It just never seems to be tight enough without it.

I needed a really long rod and this was perfect. It comes in sections so use as many as needed. Very sturdy for my outdoor blackout curtains

I have 3 dogs that love nothing more than to bounce around in the window when something happens outside and this rod copes with it all. It is extremely rigid even without the middle bracket fitted.And as always delivered in excellent condition at no charge and on time.

This is exactly as advertised and is very heavy duty and expands as mentioned.
