Bestway Flowclear Angler Pool Vacuum Cleaner

I bought this to assist in the annoying task of cleaning my cartridge filter and my expectations were fairly low. I was pleasantly surprised by how effective this tool is -- gives great water pressure and the flow control knob is a nice feature. I used it with cartridge cleaning spray and got the best outcome I've had in probably a year on my filter. There were a number of fires in my area recently so there was a lot of fine soot in my filter that didn't want to come out with just a regular hose spray nozzle, but I saw significant improvement using this tool. Highly recommended for easier pool maintenance!

Works good at cleaning my pool cartridge. Cuts cleaning time in half. Easy to screw onto hose and no leaks. Easy on/off dial.

Works well but brushes for bottom cleaning not the most durable for dirt removal for vaccum to suck into center bottom hole.

Works well bet is pretty large and collects a lot of leave.

Bought this set when we got a 13 foot inflatable pool. The thermometer seems to work. The chlorine dispenser floats and is nice. The test strips seem to work. The skimmer works fine but the handle is a little flimsy. I don’t think it will break as long as you take care of it but it just doesn’t feel real solid. The handle is used for the vacuum too. I was very disappointed with the vacuum. There doesn’t seem to be enough suction power. I know it partly depends on water pressure but our water pressure isn’t terrible. When I put my hand under the vacuum head I can’t even feel it sucking unless my hand is right over the small groove between the hose head and the spout for the filter bag which means about 80% of the vacuum head area isn’t even effective. I am just really disappointed with the vacuum. But I guess you get what you pay for…

Why did you pick this product vs others?: There was NO way to hook this up to a standard garden hose without buying an adapter. After hooking up the provided adapter to the wand. the other end was male threads. After getting it to hook up with a purchased adapter, it worked fine. Would have given it five stars if it worked right out of the package.

Very good product but Amazon driver a girl for some reason indicated that product was handed to the customer (me) but in fact it was thrown against the door with a bang. And I found it there.. why would not say as it was. Don’t get it.

Unpacked, then connected and put to use. Did its job as required. Spent the least money and completed the job of getting my pool ready for Summer Time Fun!

Exactly the same as the last one I purchased from a local pool store but way cheaper!

I had tried to clean my pool manually using the filter pump and hose without great success. The supplied items are fine and work well if care is taken not to rush! The various other items are also most useful and having previously bought a few bits separately - this 'full set' however gives good value with satisfactory quality.
