SHIMANO SH-RP101 High Performing All-Rounder Cycling Shoe

In almost 50 years of cycling these Shimano cycling shoes are the best shoes I've ever had!!! They fit great and are very comfortable. What I like about them the most, is how easy they are to put on. They do not have a tongue that gets in the way when you put them on, and the one Velcro strap makes them super easy to secure. On on top of all this, they are a terrific value for only $75!!!

I hesitated a bit, only because it is black (could get hot in summer), and 'dorky.' But I took the plunge during the Prime Day sale. It is very comfortable and light-weight. It looks so much better in person, and in fact, it looks sleek and professional as well. Can't be easier to tighten the shoes and un-do it after a ride. Ventilation is superb for summer ridings!!! As it fits to my feet so well, once tighten the velcro, there is not pressure point at all. Yes, it fits like gloves. :-)

I've been an avid cyclist, mountain and road, for over 50 years. Have done many competitive events in California, Alaska, and Washington State. I'm 65 and still hammer out 30 milers like I'm 21. I really needed to upgrade to a new road bike shoe and I took a chance with this Shimano product. My last Shimano road bike shoes lasted 20 years, so why not. This shoe is flat comfortable and is perfect for my needs. It also looks professional and the sizing was right on the money.

These shoes feel comfortable and accommodated my cleats with no issue and look very nice. What I can’t comment on regarding issues or how long they will last as the constant motion twisting moisture and sweat will start to separate shoes from the soles quickly so time will tell.

Love these shoes-I had been looking for quite a while for my first pair of cycling shoes for my indoor cycling workouts. These have held up incredibly well, easy on and off and fit true to size. I'm very happy with them!

They seem to run true to size and were comfortable right out of the box. No issues with over 600 miles on them so far.

Very nice looking, and the strap closure is easy to use. The design is light and breathable, so nice. The toe box on this shoe is HUGE. It seems oddly designed with the toe box so much larger than the rest of the shoe. I am keeping them, but a little disappointed in the fit.
