Best RC truck for the price for kids or adults! My review video shows it all!
I have a video my son and I did showing all the important details about this cool little truck. If this review or our video help you, please support us by ordering your truck or other products through the links below.Rampage in Greeen: https://amzn.to/35uosm9Rampage in Blue: https://amzn.to/2UvXZy5Rampage in Red: https://amzn.to/3lHuQMJOil dampened shock upgrade(set of 2, not offering 4 now for some reason): https://amzn.to/3eXZe2AReplacement upgraded single battery: https://amzn.to/2IvsYI2This little truck is fast, tough, and priced right! My son wanted to use his birthday money to buy an RC car. We picked out a really cool looking one from Walmart for $30 and the thing wouldn't even go in our gravel driveway. We promptly took it back and headed to the hobby store to see what they had. They had a sister brand to Traxxas that were smaller 1:18th scale trucks that fit the bill but were $150. He didn't have that much money to spend so I was going to spend the extra to get him something good. We decided to look online and ran across this little gem called the Rampage. It's got an adjustable fast/slow speed on the remote which is great for a kid learning to drive or even in tight places. It's still pretty fast in "slow" but when in high speed it's almost too fast to control at times but helps it actually still drive through tall grass. We have jumped it off huge ramps, crashed it into brick walls, and the thing just keeps going. The only issue we've had was a bad charger that we got replaced. The only other issue is we've had an axle come out of the hub twice. Once was because of a loose screw which we tightened down, and once was because my dog chased it and bit it hard. Each time was an easy fix and it just popped right back in and we were off and running again. It comes with 2 batteries and they charge in about an hr and last 15-20mins each. This package has everything you need to get going and drive for a while. You can find replacement batteries for as cheap as $12 a piece(links above) and upgrading the shocks from the stock(which are just springs with not dampening) to the oil filled dampened metal ones for $20(link above) is a great upgrade and makes a huge difference. It helps it soak up jumps better but most of all makes it easier to drive. Before in our gravel driveway if you got going fast, it would bounce all over the place so bad you couldn't control it. With the upgrade it is much easier to control. For the money, this RC can't be beat. At least from what I've experienced. My 6yr old does great with it but I wouldn't suggest it for anyone younger.

Great Little RC Truck that is easy to upgrade.
I usually wait to write a review to see how good or bad a product is and on this one I waited 4 months. I purchased this little truck off of Amazon for my son's 7th birthday in September and the got it October 1st. Needless to say this was the hit of the presents. Out of the box I was very impressed with everything that came with the truck. 2 batteries, spare parts, nice controler, great manual with full parts breakdown and one awesome little Truck. To me its was extremely fast straight out of the box and thankfully the controller has a slow mode on it so my son could learn to better control it. For the first 2 weeks the walked around the house with it driving from room to room and if was amazed at the battery life from the included batteries. In slow it was getting anywhere from 25 mins to 35 mins of drive/play time. We soon moved it to the normal setting (after he saw dad ripping it around) and if will tell you this thing is a BEAST! It is tough as nails, takes a high-speed crash and keeps on going. My son ran this thing into walls, chairs, rocks, a mailbox( that I was sure would be the end of the steering) at full speed. And then he stepped on it, (or stomped depending on your point of view) all it did was crack the front finder on the body. And then came the upgrades. My son taking after his father wanted to outrun dads expensive RC's. First came some oil filled shocks, (it sports the Haiboxing blue shocks found here on Amazon) and new tires. The original tires where still in good shape but we where going to need a bit more grip. Round two was a full brushless upgrade with a surpass hobby ESC and 2440 motor. And to finish it off a Dumbro At with gyro. Of note is I used the stock pinion gear off of the brushed motor, and all of the driveline is still bone stock except the brushless motor. This thing is absolutely insane now. It will do standing backflips, wheelies on demand and fast, super fast. I keep the speed trim set it 50% for playing and bashing and still get 18 mins of run time on the stock batteries, throw a little large 2s in and we still get our 30min run times. This little HBX is truely amazing, cheap starter rc, easy to learn on and once you pass that learning curve; its easy to upgrade and the fun keeps on coming. For me and my son I highly recommend this great little blaster/basher.
