This order (through Circuit City) took more than awhile to get to me but, ultimately, it was worth the wait. I found the unit very difficult to install and had to go online to get it working. Nonetheless, once it was here and up and running, I have found it very useful. The scanning is easy and fast and the scanned imaged are clear. The unit is easy to use over a wide variety of media, though - full disclosure - most of my scans are limited on one or two pages. I am considering a new "desktop" scanner available for faster use on multiple page items. Good item, fair price.

This item is archaic. Not simple to use at all. Does not scan correctly. I worked for over 2 hours and it is the worst product I have ever purchased. I opened it AFTER my return Time or I would definitely returned. LOST MONEY ON THIS product. Waste of time and money. My phone does a better job!!!

Works as advertised, been digitizing all my books into pdfs

Probably wouldn't buy again. Jumbled documentation and website for downloading software. Does not download via the USB cable it provides (can't get the computer to recognize the "disk"). Product needs design so it does not require Mini SD which has to be dismounted from wand every time to download, easily lost, vulnerable to damage.

This will save you a lot of money. Much cheaper than other versions of this. I buy out of date textbooks for cheap and turn them into digital versions, so I can take them with me to study without taking the big book!

I'm on my second one. The first one worked for a good 6 months before the battery wouldn't hold a charge so I thought well it's not a super high quality scanner but the images are pretty clear and works for the few times I actually need to use it. Then I got the second one. Right out of the box the battery was toast. Wouldn't keep a charge and eventually wouldn't charge at all. It was frustrating because it says it has a full charge and as soon as you use it it says the battery is dead and shuts off. Maybe the second one was just defective. If you are rarely going to use this it's great but I wouldn't reccomend relying on it for everyday use when you need something scanned to use right away

The software instructions don't work at all. Even worse, plugging the hardware it into a computer almost destroyed the computer - IDK why but windows kept opening and closing all over the computer - the virus scanner kept flagging something - what a mess!! Maybe the scanning hardware is infected with malware, but its also terrible that the instructions were clearly never actually tried before publishing.
