I got these when our power company went to time of day charging, increasing kwh charges 3-7pm. I have kitchen appliances that have "always on" features like clocks, lights, etc., that I wanted to completely power down when not using. Constantly unplugging/plugging causes wear on plugs and outlets, and power strips clutter counter tops. These units are an ideal solution because each appliance can stay plugged in while being completely turned off, turned on/off with a light press on the switch, and there is no power strip and cord clutter getting in the way on the counter. There is no installation- just plug it into the outlet, plug the appliance into the device and use the switch to turn power on. It accommodates 3-prong appliances and works perfectly for my small countertop appliances.

Made wells. Appear to have good quality switch and electrical contacts. Provides an easy and inexpensive way to power off completely, devices that drain power in the background like electronic devices and plug in power adapters/wallwarts.

I just purchased another set. These come in so handy especially around Christmas time. I have 8 trees in my home and these make it easy to switch on and off.

The size works nicely so that two can be used at the same time in a split duplex. Been using these for awhile and they work fine, seem sturdy. Sometimes have wished it was one of those that light up when it's on so it's visible from far away (to realize something needs to be turned off), but did buy these because they were cheaper than the light-up ones.

I use these all around the house to turn on lamps and fairy lights

Love that I don't have to keep pulling out the plug on the appliances I don't use much. Now just turn off the switch and let it sit until I need it again. Awesome!

I put these on my phone and laptop chargers so I do not have to repeatedly pull and later re-insert the prongs in and out of my wall sockets. I simply turn the switch off to conserve energy and save money. They have been working well for the past couple of months.

Compré este producto para conectar un aire lavado que está empotrado en lo alto de una pared, ahora lo enciendo desde abajo con este interruptor. Me gusta la marca GE porque tiene muchísimos años en el mercado y eso me da confianza. Además, el dispositivo soporta hasta 15A que es mucho más de lo que necesito. Es un cuadrito pequeño, así que no estorba a los demás enchufes.

Muy prácticos y resistentes, los recomiendo para aparatos domésticos y semi industriales (máximo hasta 15 Amperes).
