Got these, because my son and I was going to need them, but didn't after all. will hold onto them.

Easiest to use crimp on connectors I have found.

Pros: I used these on some LMR400 - they fit perfectly. The connector fits snugly on the foil shied. Fairly easy to assemble, but requires some trial-and-error to make the center pin connection.Cons: Note that the center pin is a separate piece that must be soldered to the conductor before assembly. The pictures do no show this. No instructions included at all.

Very nice connectors

I used these connectors to terminate a couple runs of LMR400DB that I ran between the house and the shack. These were surprisingly easy to work with and fit perfectly with the LMR400DB and its big fat solid copper center conductor. I crimped the center pin and it feels very solid. Added bonus, the heat shrink they provide will fit over the entire PL-259 connector so you can add them on after you crimp.

Pretty rock solid connectors, I use a hydraulic crimper, gives me factory style crimps which do not pull out ever. Hand ratcheting crimpers work good but will not compare with a hydraulic crimper. I silver solder my center pins and then crimp and heat shrink.

It’s difficult to work with LMR 400 (direct bury) because of its rigidity. These make the task much easier by eliminating the need to work with a hot soldering iron while manipulating the heavy coax. The design is solid and the quality is good. The reasonable price doesn’t hurt either.

Incomplete package. Returned first because it only had 3 connectors, 8 sleeves, 10 heat shrink and NO pins. Replacement also has 8 sleeves but there are 10 each of the other parts present. Package is short two crimp sleeves.Not waiting two more days to get replacement that may or may not be correct. I hope the parts I have works on my cables. If it does not work, I will need to come back and add more negative comments.
