Wow! Kept me up all night!
Christian and Stella are the best couple. Of the Anaverse, only Dante and Vivian match them. Their dinner scene, the four of them was the wonderful, wish I was invited! The writing was on point, the book flowed effortlessly and the story was perfect escapism. The mystery was well played and added great suspense. The terrible family dynamics of Huang's books showed out and of course was the reason for the trajectory of the story. Lot's of visits from the Twisted Crew and a perfect finale of the series. Happily every after for this couple and the rest of the group! The best book!

Printing error ; but great book/story!
I absolutely love this book!! I love the entire series! 4 stars because my printed copy- has a mess up; It goes from chapter 25- and instead of going to chapter 26 it goes back to chapter 21- there is a second print of chapter 21-25, so about 40 extra pages of the exact same thing. Wasted paper. Definitely confused me for a moment

Another banger by Ana! Perfect end to an amazing series!
Ana ended the series on a high with this one. Twisted Lies has officially become my favorite of the Twisted Series by Ana Huang. Twisted Lies is a spicy, slow burn, fake dating romance with elements of stalking, violence and past trauma. The writing was exquisite (as we already know with Ana) and the pacing was just right. It never dragged or felt like it was too long. I was extremely excited to read Cristian's story after seeing his cameo roles in the previous books, and I just knew I was gonna love his character, and Ana Huang did not disappoint. Christian Harper is simply the perfect morally gray book boyfriend we all need. We knew the cold, calculated billionaire had a dark, dangerous side to him, but we learn here that even though he doesn't think he could love but Stella is an exception. His love is basically an obsession, and he is extremely protective of her. Stella is an absolute sweetheart with the kindest hearts, and I loved learning more about her personality . It was nice to see her growth. She has a strong front in front of others and tends to keep the peace by pleasing those around her but has struggled with a lot of anxiety and self-doubt within. It was lovely to see her growth by the end to a confident woman who does what she desires and speaks up for herself without fear. The chemistry between the two was absolutely sizzling and what made this story so epic. Their love and connection was something intense and they completed each other perfectly! This series has become one of my all-time faves especially in contemporary romances and would recommend it to all romance lovers. I totally see myself coming back for a reread!

Spoilers ahead! Proceed at your own risk.
This book is the last of the series. As I finished, I felt so empty and unwell! I cannot believe this series had such an impact on me as a reader. The series wrapped up well and Ana Huang is an amazing author. She always has me hooked with whatever she writes. I'm glad that even though the series can be read standalone, I still read them in order, which tugged at my emotions as I got to know each couple individually. As for the tome itself, I thought it was a masterpiece! The pacing was definitely taking its time, but i loved EVERY MINUTE of it as I am a sucker for slow AGONIZING burn love. Christian was a sloth but it's alright because once everything unraveled, it was worth it. I LOVEEE CHRISTIAN. HE IS THE STANDARD! He is a romantic, detailed-oriented, helpful, grumpy, ruthless, crazy, psycho, shrewd, intelligent, irrational, you name it. He is my DREAM book boyfriend. Don't even get me started on his suits, always adjusting cuff links and sleeves rolls, and yanking his ties (I melted every time). One of my favorite scenes was when Christian took her to his apartment and bathed her. He is such a gentleman it hurts. Also how he comforted Stella when he found her crumbled up under her sidetable because she was so frightened with the stalker. The scene almost made me tear up. Stella is one of the most delicate, royal, compassionate character. I think her character development was written really well. She went from this scared, demure, and a pleaser to confident and strong person (with Christian's help of course). Even though Christian is a psychopath, I was ravenous for him! He blew up someone's car because they smiled at him wrong and them stolen his parking spot. Especially when he was dealing with the stalker had me GAGGED! Or when he stabbed Stella's groper hand slowly and then spilled his $20k vintage wine on his ravaged wound, then shot the guy on his way out, GAGGEDD! His ruthlessness is so so sexy and fine. Especially when he puts on his "gloves." I love his obsession with Stella! This man lowered their rent with a "done," no debate needed. I love all the couples' friendships. They are a family and are always there to protect one another. It was beautiful how they try to make as much time with each other now that they're all grown. Alex's and Josh's cameos were funny. Josh was always saying/doing something inane to piss Christian and Alex off. Did I mention how HOT it was to see Christian and Alex play chess together? Drool!! I'm beaming with joy that Ava, Bridget, Jules, and Stella have found their love partners and deservedly so. Their bond is unbreakable. Congrats to Ava, Bridget, and Stella with the twin, daughter, and a pregnancy. Christian will EAT his words AGAIN as always for making fun of Rhys being a father (though certain kids really were obnoxious). Overall, this series is immaculate and perfect in every way. It is a must read AND as much as i hate to say this, but they definitely need to be read in order! P.S. Christian chipped away at me piece by piece. Christian has my heart, mind, and soul.

Loved the Series, But This Finale Fell Short
Twisted Lies is the fourth and final installment in Ana Huang’s Twisted series, focusing on Stella, an influencer and fashion designer, and Christian, a billionaire tech entrepreneur. The Twisted series has had its ups and downs, and you can check out my other reviews for more on that, but this one is all about Twisted Lies. I’ll start by saying I love Ana Huang’s writing. However, I did not love Stella and Christian. Their fake-dating premise had a lot of potential, but it felt predictable and lacked the spark I was hoping for. The third-act breakup followed the usual formula, and the story dragged in places, making the book feel much longer than it needed to be. Ana’s writing style remains engaging and emotional, but overall this was my least favorite of the Twisted books. Still, it’s worth a read if you’re a fan of the series and want to see how it all wraps up.

Twisted Lies ended up being one of my absolute favorites in the Twisted series. From the very first chapter, I was hooked—Ana Huang has that dangerously addictive writing style where you swear you’ll read “just one more chapter” and suddenly it’s 2 a.m. This story follows Stella Alonso, a shy, sweet influencer trying to build an independent life while dealing with a stalker threatening her safety. Enter Christian Harper—the impeccably controlled, emotionally distant billionaire who owns her building. When a fake-dating arrangement turns into something far deeper (and far more dangerous), their connection becomes impossible to ignore. I’ve always had mixed feelings about morally grey book boyfriends, but Ana Huang really nails the balance here. Christian is mysterious, obsessive, and honestly a little unsettling at times—and yet, somehow, completely irresistible. He’s protective in that morally ambiguous, “I’ll burn the world down for you” way, but Huang also peels back his layers to show his loneliness and vulnerability. Watching him slowly open up to Stella was incredibly satisfying. And Stella surprised me in the best way. I didn’t connect with her as much in the earlier books, so I was worried—but she absolutely shines here. Her growth, quiet strength, and journey toward finding her voice made her deeply relatable. She’s gentle without being weak, and by the end, she might actually be my favorite of the Twisted girls. The chemistry between Christian and Stella was so good. The tension, the yearning, the soft moments tucked between danger and desire—it all worked. The “butterfly” nickname? I melted. And yes, I laughed out loud when Christian basically handed her a penthouse after one look. That man was down bad from day one. 😭 The tropes are some of my all-time favorites—fake dating, grumpy x sunshine, billionaire romance, forced proximity, roommates, and a delicious slow burn—and Ana executes them beautifully. The stalker subplot added just enough suspense to keep things intense, though I do think the pacing toward the end dragged a little. My biggest issue was the third-act conflict. It didn’t ruin the story, but it felt somewhat predictable and a bit unnecessary. That said, the emotional payoff afterward—and the epilogue—more than made up for it. Seeing all four couples one last time genuinely warmed my heart. Also… that cover? The green is stunning. Easily my favorite of the series. Overall, Twisted Lies was a strong, emotional, and satisfying conclusion. It delivered romance, tension, growth, and just enough danger to keep things interesting. While not perfect, it reminded me exactly why I love Ana Huang’s books—her characters are flawed, passionate, and impossible to forget. “If you saw yourself the way other people see you, you’d never doubt again.” “A world without Stella in it was one that didn’t deserve to exist.” Yeah. That wrecked me. 💖 Tropes & Vibes: 😤 Grumpy x Sunshine 💍 Fake dating 💼 Billionaire romance 🏙️ Forced proximity / roommates 🦋 Soft FMC, morally grey MMC 🔥 Slow-burn tension 🖤 Obsessive, protective love 🌿 Emotional growth & found confidence If you love intense chemistry, morally grey devotion, and a soft heroine finding her power, Twisted Lies is such a satisfying read—and a strong finale to the series. 💚📚✨

I want to start of saying that I loved the first 3 books in this series so my expectations were high. And after reading a heartbreaking romance I wanted something spicy and this is just that. I was a little concerned about halfway in without much spice but we got there eventually. And the storytelling is really good, I couldn’t put it down! Stella is such a relatable character. Slightly introverted, avoids conflict at any price and just a really nice person. Throughout the book she really grows more comfortable in her skin and that’s so inspiring to see. And then we have Christian the morally gray alpha hero, need I say more. Beware of triggers warnings before reading this one, there are a bunch. I love the girls but come on, the dynamics between their partners. I would be down for an entire book about a guys trip, that would be wild I mean just imagine all the possibilities.
