Good Quality!
I am a snob about my flatware. It has to have a good weight and this set does! Only thing is you will have to put them in the dishwasher eating side first. The handles will slip through the holes but other than that they are great!

They’re back!
Chose Mikasa Zena as part of our wedding registry in 1993. I absolutely love this pattern and the sturdiness with which it handles (no dainty silverware for us!). Then it disappeared for 20 years, which was disappointing because over that time we lost some, and accidentally ran the disposal on more than a few. But they’re back. They’re not 18/10 like our original set, but they’re in such pristine condition that we’re in love with them all over again. Thank you Mikasa!

Mikasa & Quality
My first experience with Mikasa dates back to the 1980’s when my Mother and I were shopping for my wedding day, and for crystal stemware. I still have and use that stemware today, and I still am a Mikasa lover after all these years. Not all that long ago, I had purchased on Amazon, Mikasa’s Novaro 20-Piece Flatware Set. That set is beautiful and I love it. I love it so much that I thought I would purchase the - Mikasa Zena 18.0 20 Piece Forged Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service For 4 – to gift to my son and his wife who need a replacement for their now faded rose gold set. This Zena Flatware set is nice but I don’t like it as much as Mikasa’s Novaro Flatware. This could be because the Novaro is 18.10 stainless whereas this Zena set is 18.0. This does however make Zena a more affordable set for everyday use.The simplicity of Zena’s design does not excite me as much as the design of the Navaro set, nor does the metal finish look as nice. Also, the flatware in the Zena set doesn’t feel as nice in the hand as does the Novaro.Lastly, the first fork that I had picked up has prongs that are uneven/slightly bent. See attached photo. I have yet to check the others.Overall, I like this set but I think next time I'll stick to 18.10 stainless for my flatware.

LOVE these!
I was fortunate enough to find these at a Home Goods store for much cheaper but needed more. Definitely worth the money for me. Best set of silverware I’ve ever owned! Easy to hold, superb quality and hold up the dishwasher.

Rusting
We received two sets of this silverware as wedding shower gifts this past summer. While we love them, we haven’t even had them for 6 months yet and multiple pieces have started to rust. My previous set of Mikasa silverware was purchased while still in college and despite abusing and using the crap out of them for over a decade, I never had one spot of rust. Very disappointed in this product as it seems the quality has taken a turn.

Incredibly durable and comfortable silverware!
We’ve had the previous version of this silverware for over 20 years, and it has held up beautifully. We only ordered another set because some pieces have disappeared. “Have kids,” they said… ”It’ll be fun,” they said…

Feels Good to Hold
I really like this silverware set, and have found myself favoring it over our other 2 sets.We tend to go through a lot of utensils in our house even just in a day, so it's always handy to have extra sets of every utensil in the drawer.I think the handles have a nice, rounded form to them that just feels nice. They also have a good weight to them, and just overall feel very comfortable in your hand.Easy to wash as you can just put them in the dishwasher. If I had any sort of con it would probably be the price, not because they aren't worth it, and aren't the quality I expect for the price, But mostly because it's just for a serving set for 4 people.I would almost prefer it to be offered in a set of 8 at a slightly lower price than the $130 the current non-sale price would add up to, if you bought a duplicate set.I would happily get a set of this quality to serve 8 for around $100-$115, I just think these are slightly too pricey even if they are great.

Excellent quality!
The sizing on this set are a little strange to me, the big spoons are very large and long. The small spoons and forks are very small compared to the larger ones. The knife is longer than even the large spoon, the handle has a good amount of heft to it.The look of this set is definitely the most important thing: I find the design very visually arresting. The difference in sizes between the utensils, the line at the neck of the knife that is absent on the other utensils. This will allow the utensils to add to the visual interest my dishes have. The knife, while having a good heft to it, isn't fully serrated. One side is serrated well and is sharp, but the other is dull. This doesn't make it great for cutting, I feel that butter knives should be able to cut bread/rolls cleanly so you can butter it effectively. This knife doesn't make the cut, pun intended. The large spoons are just shy of being serving spoons, which is both a good and bad thing. Makes it not great for cereal or soup, but extremely useful for cooking, serving, or thicker stews. All in all, this is a exceptionally high quality and visually interesting set that I expect will get a lot of comments from visitors for a very, very long time.
