I never write a review until I've had a product for either a long time or after many uses. This one is the exception. I received it today, looked it over. I tried to bend it (failed), shook it violently in the air back and forth (no flex) then scratch my back for about 5 seconds which was enough. Folks this back scratcher is legitimate. It will be an heirloom as it will last you for decades. The only thing I wish it had was softer silicon scratching contacts. It has firm plastic ones BUT it will definitely scratch that itch as if being mauled by a grizzly--------which is just what I want. I cannot recommend enough if you want a back scratcher that WORKS and works quickly. Highly recommend

I've had many back scratchers in my life. This one by far is the best. Every single thing you want in this sort of tool has been included in the design. The bristles are not flexible nor are they soft. The ends are rounded just enough to provide deep scratching without breaking the skin in my opinion. The large area of the bristle pad spreads out the pressure so it cannot scratch to hard yet allows you to get as deeply into the scratch that you want by varying the pressure that you apply. The curved handle is long enough and curved perfectly to reach the entire back. It is well crafted and sturdy. Were I to lose it somehow I would not hesitate to buy it again. If you want an aggressive but safe scratch this is the one. A more moderate or softer scratch is possible by applying lighter pressure. Spend the money. You've found it with this one! It's a good back scratcher and has served me well since I bought it in June. However, quality is questionable when it comes to durability. I dropped it about three feet onto a vinyl tile floor and it broke. I'll try to glue to back together in the morning. I'm not blaming the manufacturer. I guess I didn't realize how delicate bamboo can be.

This tool is wonderful and totally next level in its product category. Highly recommend!

Ok so its a good back scratcher but it doesn't scratch deeply its more like a back scratcher back hair brush all in all it works as a back scratcher but if you want a deeper ich this won't do it

Getting there, the design. I needed a long, more curved one. But I need it to be a bit lighter with the bamboo thinner, about 1/2 as thick--more like 1/8" thick for lightness and slight flexibility, though still bamboo, as I love bamboo. I like any item I use to be as lightweight as absolutely possible, so I was even going to try making my own before this came out. I discovered that those stainless kitchen tongs that have an oval scalloped cut (when taken apart, you get two) scratch my itch better that anything else I've tried, but they are not curved on the arm, and they aren't 23" like I need. This backscratcher could use even a little more curve than it has, but its length is so much better than all on the other short ones! THAT was a long time coming! Thank you for that. I may trim the scratcher bristles an 1/8" shorter so they don't have ball ends on them. The balls on the bristles interfere with a satisfying scratch, but some people might have more sensitive skin. I gave arthritis so my hands need a thinner grip and lighter weight, but that might not bother people without pain and who have more muscle bulk. All in all, I would generally recommend this to others--it is clearly more thought out than many designs on the market, and the finish is buffed quite smoothly for bamboo.

I was somewhat surprised at how good this backscratcher is. I've had many that fall short, but I really like this one. I find it works better on bare skin than over a shirt (it tends to get tangled in the fabric) It gives a nice, aggressive "foot tappin" back scratch. It leaves the skin tingly. It also has a nice, long bamboo handle, which I really like. Here's what I like in a quick summary: nice, firm bristles (that have a little give) Long Handle Good head angle - easy to reach all those itchy spots

This is the best back scratcher I have ever used. With other ones the itch keeps coming back but with this one it takes the itch away, it’s gives great relief.

Exactly as described, not too sharp to scratch, not too dull. Wide, long handle, very convenient. Saves when no one is around to scratch between the shoulder blades.
