Rum and coke is pretty good but add lots of Ice.
In my opinion, the addition of lots of ice makes this drink Fantastic. The price is the cheapest I've seen for this "lush", Bajan spirit. The versatility for me, is still as yet unexplored. I've found one drink that goes amazing with this spirit, so I'm open to other ideas rather than experimenting myself. Ideas please? Mount gay Extra Old has a superb taste and texture with ice and coke but unfortunately, the price is far to much for me but definitely worth splashing out for a special occasion?

Easy going entry to rum
If you're feeling like whisky is getting a bit expensive these days and are somewhat "rum curious", then this is a pretty good bottle to start with. Aroma. Sorry, I drink alcohol, not sniff it. Fairly smooth, light on both the lighter fluid petroleum flavour of unaged/young blend and Jamacan funk/hogo weirdness that might send the casual spirit drinker running for the hills (!) There's some definite sweetness (almost certainly some added sugar) but it's not quite the level of some sticky, or spiced rums. Really this is about as inoffensive as it gets and has a sort of supermarket Irish whiskey quality to it. If you've tried Jameson's or Bushmills, well think of this as the rum equivalent - light, smooth, sweet and easy. Is it something I'd buy again? Well the price isn't bad, the taste is quite acceptable as a traditional unpeated whisky/whiskey drinker and if it were bought as a gift I reckon I'd drain it rather than tip it down the drain. Ultimately, it's not up there with my favourites but if it's on a discount again I might just say what the heck and go for another.
