Good quality spatula , makes getting washed rice easy out of the washer & rice cooker after. The spoon part is actually rigid which I thought it wouldn’t be as it’s silicone, but that’s a good thing. The price may seem a little pricey but I don’t plan to buy another so it is therefore good value for money. Recommended.

You know it’s a good product if YumAsia sells it.The way it’s designed makes it so easy to scoop out rice as the rice clings to the spoon, but also comes off easily onto the plate. No problems with rice sticking to the spoon.The blue colour is nice too.

Good size spoon that is non stick as advertised with multi uses as the silicon can handle heat up to 210c, along with a long enough handle. Excellent spatula for rice and other cooking purposes / multi functionality. Ease of use is also very good in scooping rice and chopped food items in pans and bowls.The only thing i would like is instead of wooden handle is perhaps, a steel covered in silicone handle for ease of drying ? This in my opinion makes it a bit more value for money and i rate this product 4.5 / 5

Does exactly what I need it to and not scrape my rice cooker while it’s going that.

I use this with my YumAsia Rice Cooker and it requires a silicone spoon to scoop up because the Bowls material could chip, crack or sustain damage but this product is the perfect match for it and no issues have occured.10/10 easy to clean and sturdy with no signs of wear after 6 months.

Seems like an expensive luxury to have a special spoon for serving rice, but once you've had one you'll understand why it's worth it. Properly cooked rice sticks like mad to wooden spoons, hard to scrape off when serving and hard to clean off when washing up, especially if the starch dries on. Metal spoons don't stick quite as much but risk scraping the pan if you cook in non-stick or a rice cooker. But these spatualas have little bobbles to deter the rice from sticking and they are silicone so don't damage the pan. If you cook a lot of rice with a steam at the end to dry the grains off and leave them fluffy and separated then I really recommend these spoons. Versatile? An irrelevant rating to be asked for a specialised bit of equipment - hence the 1 star for that. Staub do a nice black one, but I asked Yum Asia ages ago if they would do one and I really like their nice white one. Perfect!
