Each batch of fish oil undergoes external heavy metal analysis once the entire purification process is completed to validate the method.So yes heat is used but this does not oxidate the oil.

Saying 'see instructions' isn't very helpful, plus the instructions are a bit misleading... it tells you the contents of '1 serving' but then above that it says '1 serving = 1 to 3 tablets'.
