Plumb Pak Compression Isolator Valve 15mm Chrome - Pack of 2

Replaced my bathroom sink and the existing valves started to drip from the valve handle so I replaced them with these. Cleaned up the copper pipe and tightened the compression nut and it sealed perfectly. No leaks or drips and didn't need to use any PTFE tape. The ends of the valve body have quite a defined edge, not flat enough for the rubber washer of the flexi hose to bear down on and form a good seal. They're sharp enough that it would easily cut the rubber washer if overtightened so I bought some brass tap tail adaptors, which is the proper way to do it anyhow. No point doing a cowboy job and risking leaks for the sake of a few extra pounds!

Good Quality Isolator Valves. There are 2 in the pack with washers and bolts on each side. The screw turns 360 degrees in either direction to reduce, increase or shut off water supply. Can be tricky to fit but used for sink taps or feed tanks.

I really needed a way to isolate the toilet cistern as I was changing the flush and it was easier than going downstairs and it would be there if anything needed doing in the future. My problem was I didn't have much room to put one in! I asked previous buyers and they all assured me that it would fit easily so I bought them. I find compression joints very easy to fit and there were no problems with leaks. Turning the screw quarter turn opens and closes the valve o.k and allowed me to change my flush nicely. I'm sure you can get them but it would be nice to fit a key or something similar to the turn screw in case of a problem and you don't have a screwdriver, or widen it so a small coin could be used to open/close the valve. I did have a lever valve but found this a better size.

The valves arrived on time with in a day. The valves are good value for money and seen well made

The package they arrived in must have opened so the post office had placed it in a plastic bag. A nut and olive was missing but its wasn't a problem as I had a spare. They fitted well and work a treat. I didn't contact the supplier regarding the small problem but feel sure had i done so it would have been resolved as postage was fast.

They did what they are supposed to do

All compression fittings are easy it install with the right tools. The cost was in line with other outlets so good value for money. I used the fitting on my garden watering supply system.

Used to blank some pipes. Did the job easily.
