Saw her talk about this book on TV. Sounds interesting.

I’m excited to explore this book however, arrived damaged, stained and dented.

This book was around 3.5 stars for me.This is a helpful book for someone who wants to improve their understanding of flavors and learn about which foods go well together. I like that it's plant-based and has a variety of foods. The book is broken down by ingredient and lists what combinations go well with it including anecdotes, comments, and ideas about the pairings. Some are detailed and include helpful times and others are informational or short so there's not a lot of consistency. There aren't pictures in this book of any of the pairings and not a lot of recipes.It's a helpful book to get an idea of what to try with some foods and expand your tastes.

This book looks used; scuffed on top and bottom edges, shows on front of book. AND not eligible for return. I didn’t want to put this in a review, but I don’t know how else to let Amazon or the seller know. I’m pretty sure I did not buy a used book for the price paid. It’s an interesting book, just what I was hoping it would be. I just like my books new when not buying them from St. Vinnie’s or a used bookstore. Sighhh.
