I bought this item after deciding I wanted to dye my hair for the first time. I had done some research and found Manic Panic to be a well recommended dye. I was reluctant to bleach my hair and in the end decided not too. I have a naturally darkish blonde hair colour and decided to just give it a try without bleaching. I was incredibly impressed, the colour did come out darker than the picture of the swath of hair shows but that's what I expected. The colour was brilliant! It's also really easy to do yourself and I managed to do it easily having never dyed my hair before. YouTube and the Manic Panic website have great tutorials if needed! It was about 3/4 weeks before I had to reapply to keep the colour which I was more than happy to do as it doesn't damage the hair. As it fades, it fades to a lovely light blue/green colour. I am more than happy with the product and am waiting for the colour to fade before ordering a new one. The dye came in great time and the pot had enough for me to dip dye my waist length hair over half way up three times (with there still being some left). I would recommend it to anyone.

I have dark brown hair and it gave me a lovely dark purple. It only lasted 2 washes for me which usually the manic panic ones last longer. Would buy it again tho

i used the voodoo forest dye and it was so good!!! was so scared about dying my whole hair because my hair takes weirdly to most dyes i use and i have had many bad experiences but this really did more than i could’ve imagined, originally i had medium brown hair with some dark areas and some light due to left over black dye and bleach so i had very random tones through my hair, then i used a lightner which made me slightly lighter but very coppery and still super uneven so i was worried how the colours would mix but omg its so cute the first pic is the weird colour my hair was before and the after but omg it does stain alot so be careful!! i used gloves when dying but not when i rinsed it out and it stained my hands blue but oh well most dyes do anyway I LOVE MY HAIR!

I previously bought the blue hair dye from this brand, and it worked amazingly well. Because of that great experience, I trusted the brand completely and bought their purple dye with full confidence. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. My hair’s base color is level 7, almost level 8 — very light — so any decent dye should have no problem showing up. But despite the light base and applying the product thoroughly and evenly, the purple dye still had very weak coverage and poor color payoff. A lot of sections didn’t take the color at all, and the parts that did developed into strange, inconsistent shades: grayish purple, bluish purple, dull gray-blue, and even a muddy greenish tint. Considering how well their blue dye performed, this product was a huge letdown. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the purple dye.

My hair is green. GREEN. and I used this dye yesterday. I think part of it may be user error? But it says to apply to clean hair and I don't know if that means just shampooed or if it means shampoo and conditioner or what. I think the colour of the conditioner I may not have rinsed out properly interfered but it shouldn't? I'm mostly just annoyed that even if it looks and feels good my hair is the wrong colour.
