Easy and quick to set up. Really impressed.
I badly needed to replace my 10 year old Dell PC for homework, school research and surfing the internet.I was a bit nervous purchasing a refurbished tower but found this online - the low price swung it for me with all the positive Amazon reviews. I was not disappointed when it arrived - I replaced my old Dell with this new one easily. I just reconnected the leads and wires from the old to the new one and I had it set up and running with a newly purchased subscription of Office 356 within an hour. This new one starts up with lightning speeds ready to go - it's amazing! Windows 10 not as bad as I thought it might be - quickly got used to the new look desktop and icons. Easy to use - I linked it to wifi internet and to the printer with a few clicks super fast. Just got to work out how to use the Office storage cloud now! I am very pleased with this and I was so relieved and impressed to get it all set up easily and quickly. My old Dell PC tower was well over 10 years old and still had Windows XP on it which had got frustratingly very very S-L-O-W forcing me to do something! I did have a massive dilemma whether to get a new fancy singing and dancing laptop or this. I have a laptop for work and I just like to keep work and home separate. Also the kids use this a lot and it takes a daily battering. I also have all my personal files, kids and holiday photos etc on the PC - so I'm a bit old school - I agree. You can't go wrong here and you can save yourself a fortune. I got mine from MicroDream.

Great buy!
Nice little computer for the price and is working great in the office. The case is in decent condition for used but the machine had been formatted and a fresh version of windows 10 was running stable - I ran my own 5-hour stress test when I got it with no issues.I am using this machine for the farm office and with its only tasks being simple things such as web browsing, email via outlook, spreadsheets via excel and an invoicing program I expect it to handle everything for years. The wireless functionality come via a usb dongle and while I didn’t use this – I have it wired it did detect the wireless network so I see no problems. The product sticker is for a windows 7 machine so this was upgraded to windows 10 from there but this will still give an official OS which is worth the price of the machine on this own so I’m very happy.

Good value, solid machine but covered in sticky spray paint
I've purchased 3 of these 780s from IT Buffs in recent years, they're dependable work-horse machines for basic office functions - email, web-browsing, word processing etc and for the price you get a decent package and a Win 10 license. This latest one had a 2.8GHz 2-core processor, larger-than-specificied (& brand new) 250Gb HD, 4Gb RAM, a DVD RW drive, wireless dongle - everything you need for the average home user. No HDMI socket, but a Displayport provides digital video output and the VGA supports full HD and is crisp & clear - just make sure that your monitor/TV has one of those inputs, or obtain a Displayport to HDMI lead, and note that you'll need to connect the audio separately as displayport & VGA are video only. Delivered swiftly by courier swathed in ample bubble-wrap in a sturdy box with a new mains lead enclosed. So far so good.Cosmetically the outside looked great, but I was puzzled by the lack of markings on the DVD drawer. It transpires that the outside had been treated with some kind of black polish - like the stuff that car showrooms use on tyres - which is all very well but it had not been applied carefully and was spattered all over the inside of the machine. This is a very bad thing as it's slightly sticky if not polished and will cause dust to adhere to fan blades and other moving parts potentially shortening the lifespan of these components. So I wasn't impressed at having to strip the machine down to give it a thorough clean - noting that the fans hadn't been cleaned very well prior to shipment (although to be fair the cpu heat-sink was spotless). So I've docked a star for the black polish - IT Buffs should review their usage of that, cetainly in such a liberal manner as on my example (although it hadn't been used on the 2 previous machines that I'd purchased). So in summary - you don't need to spend hundreds of pounds on a new PC unless you require high-end performance for advanced gaming or video production. This is an excellent machine for everyday home use at a fraction of the cost and will still be running long after your £1,000 smart phone has ceased to be supported.

Cheaper than buying a windows licence plus a pc. brilliant
I was a bit concerned about buying this as I had a bad experience of buy a refurbished and tested monitor that turned into nightmare. I need not have worried everything just worked first time startup was slow but after that it was fine, and it automatically updated itself and the licence was authenticated. This is a much cheaper and effective way of upgrading to windows 10 if you missed the free upgrade they did when W10 was introduced. This pc can stand vertically like a mini tower and takes up very little desk space, ideal for my little workshop. I’m really pleased.Update: 4/03/20I had a few odd things but going to the Dell site and getting the drivers checked and updated sorted them out also the BIOS was on the /05 version but the latest was /15 all seems ok now. A good £50 worth
