Just what I needed!
This has solved a big problem for me. I like to walk to destination wearing the camera on my Cotton Carrier harness, then swap to monopod or gimbal when I get there.. this now saves me having to remove the foot and I can just interchange. Brilliant!

An excellent way of carrying a camera ready to use.
My wife and I both use these for carrying DSLR cameras with long lenses, mainly for wildlife photography. With the appropriate harness or belt holster (from Cotton Carriers) they spread an balance the weight so that they can be carried even over very rough ground whilst still being almost instantly useable when the wildlife pops up.

Great product and gets rid of the time wasted detaching black rapid when using tripod. Lot of money though

It is quite expensive but not something that everyone requires, so no economy of mass production. I required a second tripod adapter for my Cotton Carrier so I was happy to pay the price - and it is well made.

Not quite what I thought it was - My Bad. Need to buy another CSS Hub now
Very expensive for what it is!I, naively, assumed it was the arca mount and the CCS Hub mount for the Cotton Carrier vest. (CCSHub)(Yes I know I should have looked more carefully at the image.)It isn't. It merely facilitates the ability to put the CCS Hub mount onto it. So you might need to by another hub as well!I know it was my mistake but seriously frustrated at the price! and now another £20-£30 to get it to work, Unless I want to have to keep taking the hub I have on and off.$39 dollars on Cotton Carrier website. £69 on UK amazon. That's one hell of a markup!!!!I had a Black Rapid Kit before this. This is better but it's working out to be a lot more expensive.

Obscenely expensive
A necessary piece of kit if you want to mount your camera onto a tripod without having to detatch your Black Rapid strap. Works really well, but it's obscenely expensive for a simple chunk if metal.

Not as good as expected, especially in light of the high price
I bought this product as very keen to utilise the Skout but simultaneously retain the ability to mount the camera onto a tripod with relative ease and speed.Whilst this does work for my tripod (usual quick-release design), the camera is not particularly well/strongly held due to the steric hindrance (physical blockade) of the CCS hub (for use to hook onto the Skout). In certain angles, it is possible my camera body/lens could fall off the tripod (say, when shooting vertically -- a common way to capture landscapes as it gives more height/room to play for a few extra horizontal shots).Additionally, the setup prevents me from adjusting/aligning my camera vertically with the tripod I currently own unless I attach the plate backwards on the camera and add on the adapter plate (for the tripod) as well. Doing this means using the Skout is possible, but you have to make adjustments to how you attach/detach the camera as the weight balance and angling required are different in this posture. Okay, but for the very steep price (for what is essentially a small piece of metal) I'm a little surprised!
