I'm going on a solo travel trip soon and I bought this little journal to keep notes in whilst I'm away. The size is absolutely perfect for travelling, as it fits (snug) into a pocket. It looks great, with a vintage leather like bounding which has a long strap which doubles over to tie it securely. I also keep my pen in the journal and the strap keeps it secure within the pages. The pages are a little on the small side, so you'll have to practice smaller fonts, but this is necessary if you want a journal that's portable. The pages are tinged yellow and are thick and good quality. There's no trace of writing from the opposite side of the page, which is great. It feels like good quality all round.

I am beginning to write in my new journal and couldn't be more satisfied. The cover is sturdy and robust, while looking simple and elegant. The binding is different from other similar journals. I took my time finding this one, and no regrets. In the other similar notebooks there are usually 5 separate "booklets" loosely bound together. I prefer this one, because it is made like an actual book. The binding is done with real love and care. The paper - made from cotton rags - is amazingly tactile and a joy to write on, with a pilot 0.4 black ink pen. It is really nice that the paper isn't the usual smooth sterile number. I couldn't be more pleased with this journal. I will no doubt keep an eye out for similar journals, but in the meantime this one should keep me happy for a while - there's enough pages and it feels comfortable to write on both sides of the page. I like the notepad and can tell it has been well made. The leather is good quality and it has a distinctive smell. I bought it as a gift for someone else and am happy with the purchase. However, if it wasn't for the heavy discount in price, I would not have considered it. Definitely worth £25, would not pay any more for it though.

The book is well crafted, the leather cover is lush, plenty of pages with good toothy paper that isn't pointlessly thin and is able to handle both ink and pencils easily. The paper was more toned than I'd expected, but that will be just fine for me since I like working on more mid-tone papers :) The book came with a lovely canvas bag to keep it safe in, or even use for anything else you chose to. There was even a cute thank you note from the craftsman to let you contact them directly if there was damage or the book didn't meet your expectations The larger 7" version of the book is the one I bought.

I bought this as an anniversary present for my husband who is into his sketching and design. I was really surprised not only at the quality of the product but also the quality, and quantity, of the paper. It's difficult to tell from images but the journal is a lovely size and ideal to be carried around for when a spark of inspiratin kicks in. It's such a beautiful item that he will get so much enjoyment from, I would happily purchase this again and other products as well.

I absolutely love this journal! It's beautifully presented, it comes in a lovely bag, you can tell it is handmade the way the leather is cut. The paper is just gorgeous, thick and lots of it ! Lovely personal letter from the maker to make it perfect. Love that it's made in an eco-friendly way (though not impressed with the plastic bag it came in). Strongly recommended!!

the leather is cheap and plastic looking. its a coated leather nothing like the photograph. pages are falling out and its absolutely not worth the £25.00 I have paid plus postage. which equated to £36.00 I am returning it.

This is an absolutely wonderful journal, of the highest craftsmanship. I searched for hours and hours to find it, and it fits my needs perfectly. It is the same dimensions as my "A Year To Clear" book (5" x 7" and at 1.5" thick it has MORE THAN one page a day for one year)! It has a lovely long strap that allows me to wrap around both the book and the journal which will be my daily devotion this year. The paper is a wonderful creamy color and texture (like a refined handmade paper, slightly rough with fibers visible here and there) and the binding is very carefully made: constructed of 8 banks of 12 doubled and hand-laced-together sheets (yielding 24 sheets with two sides each) for a total of 384 pages (=48 pages x 8) to write on, more than enough for a page-a-day for a year (1 year is 365 days)! The edges are all perfectly even, are squared to the binding and tightly and perfectly glued to create a very refined look. Plus there is a stiff cover page for the front and back just inside the binding, a very nice touch. The leather is a lovely rich brown, very supple, giving a sumptuous feel to the hand. What a joy. It is because of this journal I decided I could start journalling for the first time. About the ONLY way I can think of improving it would be to add a pen loop inside the bend of the over-flap (where there is room between it and the edge of the pages - see picture). How is it?? READ IF YOU STILL HAVE CONFUSION! ᶘ ⊙ᴥ⊙ᶅ My first impression was like for the first time I got to see how carefully someone can do the packaging, it was well packaged so there is no longer doubt about how it will come out, the layering and at last their cloth bag! It is soo good, I felt sooo happy that I have something which is leather made and the pages are warm yellow in colour, they are also handmade I think so. The size is travel friendly so whoever is looking for it they should have this one! At first I was thinking if I bend the book a bit it will torn or something but it's well stitched, binding quality is perfect! 🤍 I would say just get it before it's too late. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It was on my wish list for soo long after my journal finished I was eager to buy another! My expectations were just it should have a lot of pages and not too big so I can carry or place it anywhere! And guess what out of the blue I found this and after checking the reviews with my bitter-sweet experience I finally decided to order it after talking to my didi. So I was soo excited to unbox it as it came today probably it's my Christmas gift for myself!🎄🎁

Perfecto para quienes disfrutan escribir o buscan un regalo especial. El cuero de este diario tiene un acabado suave al tacto con un aspecto vintage. Es perfecto para llevar en una mochila o bolso sin ocupar mucho espacio. Las hojas lisas son ideales tanto para escribir como para dibujar. La calidad del cuero y el grosor del papel hacen que valga la pena para quienes buscan algo duradero.

Il taccuino è in vera pelle, le pagine sono ruvide e di un ottimo materiale giallo antico; l'unico difettuccio è la puzza tipica della pelle...assolutamente trascurabile.
