AMAZZZZING.....And
I am not an expert in headphones etc but I was looking for a set that would give me clarity and deeper sound quality like my NAIM Cube speaker which I love. I bought Bose Sports Noise Cancelling in ear buds, based on reviews, and returned them immediately after 1 hour ... I disliked their bulkiness and they sounded a bit "tinny". I did some research and found that music studios use Sennheiser (never heard of them before) so I ordered the in ear Sennheiser which were okkkk but found that they worked better for me wearing them upside down and only then the ear buds didn't continuously fall out and the sound was better. However, I still wasn't getting that deeper base sound that I craved. Based on reviews i.e. build quality etc I decided to chance my luck (wasn't still sure based on the price) with the HD 206 and instantly I knew I had found what I had been looking for. Plus point being that they are also really comfortable especially when you fall asleep with them still wrapped around your head and they are quite robust. However, being a bit bulky, I use my in ear Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 In Ear Bluetooth when I am out and about. As for the sound, although they provide good base, it can sound a little muffled but way better than the in ear phones. And the best bit .....the price. I never expected to get this sound quality for this price. It's assumed the more you pay the better but not in this case. I bought another set of over the ear Sennheiser but they were not on par with the HD 206's so back they went. I have ended my search altogether and now just use these.

Surprisingly good sound
Why did you choose this product over others?:I bought these to use while sleeping due to their slim profile, but was surprised by the sound quality. The deliver a clear sound in all ranges but I would guess they are balanced more toward the mid-high frequency range. More powerful than they appear, great value.

They are good but...
They feel cheap but the audio is almost perfect. They have zero bass but I've been using them for my podcast and they are perfect for this use. They are light weight and they fit well enough.I thing the fact that they are mostly plastic is what makes them feel cheap but they have stood upto about 100 hours use so far and they still look like new and work perfect.

Nice surprise!
I had Sennheiser headphones since the 70's and they always were top of the range. I was looking for simple, cheap headphones and stumbled over these. My use would be for HAM Radio. They arrived and I got a lovely surprise: they sound well above their price point, in fact they are excellent even for classical music. Ok, they are made entirely from light plastik, making them super light. They are very comfortable thanks to the very good and comfy padding. Overall headphones you can easily wear for hours! You get a very nice set from a real brand with excellent reputation for little money! Recommended!

Disappointing
"Sennheiser for under £30?! Preposterous! There's no way these are any good" was the first thought to flash through my mind when I spotted this pair of headphones, and by the Gods, I was... quite correct, actually.I bought this pair to replace a not much more expensive but a lot more broken pair of studio headphones. Usecase is music production and playing bass without bothering the neighbours.Let's get the most important thing out of the way first - sound quality. The blurb on the box reads "accurate bass response". As a bassist I can tell you that is not the case. The low end on these is so weak it might as well not exist. There's a big bump in the mids, and the highs sound shrill & brittle. Listening to a mix that sounds fine on everything else gives me an earache on these. Human voices come through nice and clear, everything else seems to fall in the background. That said, if your usecase is music production / mixing & mastering, it's worth keeping these around as a "worst case scenario" reference - if you can make a track sound good on these, you can pat yourself firmly on the back.Build quality is what you'd expect for £26 - it's plastic, a whole lot of it. The entire device feels like it's about to crumble if you squeeze it hard enough. It's fine for home use (as long as you don't put them down too fast), but absolutely not fit for travelling.Where these headphones claw back a few points is comfort. Being a serial wearer of spectacles (by necessity, not by choice) the unfortunate fact is that a lot of headphones are not very comfortable to wear for any longer than 20-30 minutes. These guys are light - an upside of the All-Plastic(tm) construction - and aren't very tight either, which is not good for sound quality but it does mean wearing them with glasses for an extended period of time won't cause all too much pain if any at all.Overall, if you're looking to use these in a studio setting, avoid at all costs! If you're a casual user, looking to listen to audiobooks, do a bit of voice/video chatting (get a mic though, these don't have one) or just need something to plug into your speakers when everyone else is sleeping and don't care much for the experience, it's an OK choice, but don't expect to be blown away and most definitely don't be fooled by the Sennheiser logo - there's way better options for just a handful of GBPs more. You get what you pay for, really.

Good value.
Replaced old pair of Sennheiser with newer model , fantastic performance, no hesitation in giving five stars, cannot see the point in spending more money.

You Get what you pay for :(
We get through 2-3 pairs of headsets a year. I always buy Neewer but this time due to costs we bought the Sennheiser HD 206.Never Again! They are thin, weedy and feel like they will break soon. Absolutely terrible quality.Sound quality is ok but not Sennheiser qualityThe worst of all is the cable. I think its made of the cheapest wire you can get and always in the way.You get what you pay for and Im paying for it…
