new guns to experiment with and while your doing all that you feel like a total bad ass
Story! The story itself is well created with the player playing as Jack Mitchell, well trained and equipped with the most advance exo skeletons from the leading technology company Atlas, Jack must fight fire with fire with a the main baddy only known as Hades! But no all is what it seems! The story is greatly designed with twists and turns at every corner with new enemies to encounter, new guns to experiment with and while your doing all that you feel like a total bad ass! Gameplay! We all know that the call of duty franchise has been dragging its feet for the past couple of years, and last years entry was no exception one of the worst Ghosts, But with the release of Advance Warfare. War Hammer games have done a great Job in re-creating the gameplay by giving the player an exo skeleton and throwing them into combat with new perks, guns, grenades and my favourite Exo Abilities, Exo abilities are new gadgets that allow the player to use their Exo skeleton to enhance their abilites in a number of ways, in the single player campaign these are chosen for the player but in muliplayer its a whole different story for example Cloak, hover, Speed stim, health stim ect! All in all the gameplay is spot on using the old Call of Duty and smacking on War Hammers new and improved gameplay, and a lot of improvements with the multiplayer with new perks and Exo abilities to use online! And a new function that is placed in muliplayer is the supply drop function which allows players to be rewarded randomly for playing online, players start of with simple guns and armour but with each supply drop who knows what you will get, from improved guns to cool looking armour and there is even rarity too, from enlisted, Professional and elite, Enlisted being the least rare to elite being the best! One major issue in the game is related to the games online connection, with Old school Call of Duty players, players used to host games and if that person had a bad connection it would worsen the game for all other players, and it hasn't disappeared in Advanced Warfare with the connection being extremely bad at times making it hard for players to even enjoy the game and this ruins the online factor by a lot! Graphics! The graphics and look of the game is fantastic, from the story to the multiplayer level design, Face features to drones, No mesh or texture issues, and by the look of it this is what next generation is all about! One word stunning! Sounds and Acting! With the sound being a big part in an FPS game and Advance Warfare has done an amazing Job with it from explosions to stepping on glass! The acting as well is right on the spot, with the actors being designed for the right characters and each character having their own persona and making you feel like you want to be friends with some, enemies with others and having trust issues with that one guy in the game, the acting is on the mark with the script and story telling! Summary! The Call of Duty franchise has finally earned our thanks for a great game! With Advance Warfare picking up the pace after Ghosts! And its great to see War Hammer doing a great Job with it too! Superb story, graphics and sound but lacking in some Gameplay elements the game gets a 7/10 would be higher but the multiplayer does let it down when it comes to experience! War Hammer does say though that they will be dealing with the connection issues as soon as possible!

because it is obviously very good, unsurprisingly for a huge franchise that the sound ...
Considering the anticipation surrounding Advanced Warfare it's really quite disappointing. It's apparent that this game is nothing more than a cash cow. Many will say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", which is a valid point, but really you should expect more for your money. With the release of next gen consoles the benchmark for games has increased considerably. Now, I cannot criticise the game on its production value, because it is obviously very good, unsurprisingly for a huge franchise that the sound and graphics will be cutting edge. Where Advanced Warfare suffers is it lacks substance and ingenuity. Is it too much to ask that a game with a huge budget tries to push the boundaries? So what about the jet packs and energy weapons? While the new weapons are admittedly fun, the usefulness of the jet packs is less so. Although they handle nicely, they also serve to make the already small multiplayer levels feel even more restrictive. These two new features are nothing more than gimmicks to disguise the fact that this is basically the same game as the last few releases. The campaign is built on an interesting concept and Kevin Spacey does a great job in carrying the story. On the whole I found the campaign enjoyable; although for the most part it was very linear, there were a few small parts where it opened up and felt more like the game I imagined it would be. It's very short, about 6 hours. Sadly that's to be expected from modern games. The multiplayer gets boring fast. What really disappoints me are the levels are still so small, and I often find myself unable to climb to areas because of invisible level barriers. How they can justify this given the power of next gen consoles is beyond me. This really ruins the immersion of gameplay. They look great, but you just end up going round in circles. I wouldn't expect them to make them battlefield 4 scale because it'd upset the diehard fans, but they could be much better. Perhaps all the good stuff is reserved for DLC. What it all comes down to is that it just isn't worth the money. The COD developers are going to keep milking this franchise until their sales suffer substantially, then they will make some effort. With regards to the price, this basic version gives you 6 hours of gameplay, with no real replay-ability. They've basically made it so that you have to buy the season pass to get any real value out of it, which equates to £70 minimum, assuming you don't buy the extra features, which look to me like a waste of money. They even removed zombies from the full game entirely so it's only on DLC. It feels as though the COD series is gradually giving it's customers less for more. It's an emerging trend amongst game developers as they become more interested in extorting us to maximise profits than creating something new and exciting. They don't deserve your money and honestly I wish I hadn't bothered with it.

Just know that this review is for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - Atlas Limited Edition for xbox one. Cheers.
One of the best call of duty games first of all. That is because in all honesty when comparing this to more other updated versions of the call of duty games such as black ops 3 this does it way better in literally everything in its own time. First of all black ops 3's storyline sucks so bad its appalling and second of all black ops 3's gameplay is the only thing that just only barely keeps it going in comparison to this game. In Advanced Warefare not only is the storyline way better but additionally so is the general gameplay both in terms of single and multiplayer as well. Pros: In this edition of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare being the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Atlas Edition there are lots of cool things of interest thrown in. Those include additional level and gameplay content to the original game along with a beautiful Atlas Corporation booklet and stylish Atlas company card as well. Thats not to mention a huge pile of new and updated Call of Duty weapons as well so. Cons: If you are like me and also love playing the zombie slaying missions and if you within saying want to play any zombies on this edition of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the only cons with this product is that all of those things exist only in the form of paid for online content, that of which is not included with this version of the product. Annoying but at the same time apart from all of that having said, very brilliant product this, would most recommend if you love the Call of Duty games. Far out totally.
