Hi. would this triangle fit the space in a vw polo 6r?

It fit the clip on the tailgate on my Golf and it much neater size than others I had. It's as small as you'll get.

Does the 44cm length include the 'hanging tab'? I am looking for 42cm actual box length.

The box is 43.5 without tabs. Tab is 25mm
