E-TECH Black Door Edge Guard Protector Scratch Resistant

This is a good addition to the new car doors. Fits all the doors well. One bit of advice, its difficult to manipulate around tight bends, but found warming it first in a microwave made it pliable and easy to mould to shape. Also I like that it includes glue, so should stay in place well.Looks good as well. Update: been on the car nearly a year, all still good. One small negative point in the very hot summer last year, it was easy to pull off. But would still recommend it.Update 2020.Bought some more, although it is very good and does its job well, after a while its gone hard, and pulled away form the car on the tight bends. Rather than try and remould it, i am replacing it. It’s not too dear, and does the job well. Had this on 2 cars now. Will keep buying.

A good quality product with clear fitting instructions. I did not have to warm it beforehand as suggested by other reviewers - though I am sure that this can help. I fitted it to the front door edges of a Honda HR-V and it fitted well into the profile. It looks good as well as giving the protection needed. It does make the door slightly harder to close but this is not a major issue. It just needs a little more force. The strip comes in a short 2 meter length and there are other strips that come in longer pieces and seem better value. But I am impressed by the quality and have ordered more packs to do my rear doors and also a neighbour's car.

Edit - The strips down each front door have worn away and damaged the pain on the rear passenger door where they meet. Initially i didn't think they rubbed but they have over time and have done considerable damage to the paint. They do a good job at protecting the door edge they are fitted to, more damage has been done by them than i could have caused without them.This was really easy to fit to my car doors, there was enough to do the drivers and passenger doors from the windows to the bottom of the doors. As my car is also black the door strip blends in really well and looks quite smart. It was mentioned in another review that the strip rubbed against the door post and damaged the paint - not noticed any problems yet but there is less space with the strip fitted at the bottom of the doors so i will keep an eye on that area for potential problems. Its already saved my doors from some nasty chips as i have to park really close to a wall outside my house, getting in and out of the car can be a bit difficult at times. Good product so far

Surprisingly decent. I bought this for the rear doors of an Audi A1 and after cutting a tiny notch out to mould around the sharp bend, it fits perfectly.It has adhesive in the middle, where it curves around, and is actually pretty narrow and discrete, no not as obvious as you'd think. It definitely looks better than the wider ones I have on my front doors and I'm thinking of buying more of this to replace that.

After the door edges of my last car were completely wrecked by being repeatedly smashed by my children into the wall by our house, I was determined that my new car should not suffer the same fate. After doing some research and reading through a lot of reviews I decided on this. It is great. It goes on easily (especially if you use a hairdryer to soften the plastic as you do it) and looks fairly inconspicuous from a distance. It is more noticeable and obvious up close, even on a black car so it may be something to consider if you are buying it for a car that is a colour other than black. It does look infinitely better than smashed doors however so it gets the thumbs up from me,I guessed when I bought it about how much I'd need and underestimated (I bought 2 packs for our average sized 5 door family car which only did 3 doors - I imagine that if you had a very small 3 door car you MIGHT get away with only one pack, but everyone else will definitely need more than one!). Measure before you buy as I have had to order another pack to finish the job.

Really like this stuff! Gave up on the 2 for £5 stick on guards as they always go missing during a jetwash. I cut off 2" of the guard to cover up really bad chipping, but will fit guard to both doors properly in better weather. So far it has survived torrential rain storms, and I think it's a gem of a product. Hopefully it will stand the test of time!

Very pleased with this product, easy to fit and looks well on my blue focus. One pack is enough to protect the full door edge (side and bottom) of one door. Well worth it though if you have to park close to walls or high kerbs.

Qualità buona.. troppo corto per coprire bene le 4 portiere, servono due confezioni.... e quindi poi te ne rimarrà troppo !
