When I finally managed to track it down it was very expensive till I went on desertcart, price excellent, quality excellent well done desertcart! One happy little girl!

A must have for every Disney fan
One of Disney's all time greats. A super sweet tale that's suitable for all ages. A true genuine heart warming movie. I love this and have watched it so many times that I've lost count. Having tried everywhere for this dvd as a gift went to disney shops on line only to find its not available, tried loads of shops having special offers on disney dvd still not available. When I finally managed to track it down it was very expensive till I went on Amazon, price excellent, quality excellent well done Amazon! One happy little girl!

Disney Classic
Got for my collection of classic Disney films I loved growing up. Beautiful animation from the talented team behind this magical story of family fun with talking animals. Get if fan of old style Disney films.

Old time favourite
Loved this when I was a kid in the 90s. And my son loves cats so I thought you know what. He will appreciate this good old movie. And he did brought back some sweet memories and the songs are funky loved it

Good film
This seems to be one of those Disney films that is often forgot or overlooked. That is a shame as this is a really good film and like all Disney films very watchable and enjoyable. For those who haven't seen it this is basically a Disney film version of the Charles Dickens classic story Oliver Twist. Children will definitley love it as will the majority of Disney fans. This is no means up there with Lion King etc but it is still a really good film to watch with the usual good songs and story with a life lesson.

There are blu rays of which covers are by far the best parts.
My headline actually refers to one of the most famous lines in Oliver Twist, and as an opinion about this movie it would be a bit too harsh. This a 30-year old animated Disney movie from the group’s period of not-so-epic productions. The animation, music and songs at quite decent and leaves a good impression of 1980’s New York city. Like so many Disney movies it is a modern, though loose retelling of a famous story, this time Dickens' classic Oliver Twist. As often animals (cats and dogs in this case) replace the humans. We thought the movie was quite entertaining, funny at times, though the pacing leaves somewhat to be desired for and some of the characters could have been done better. Yet the music is catchy and a few of the characters are fun. But there are definitely much better Disney films. The blu ray version we bought was crisp and sharp, yet it is somewhat of a dark-toned movie created partly with pre-digital animation techniques, so the high blu ray resolution doesn’t really come to fruition here.

I absolutely loved this film as a kid so I thought I should buy it again. I'm very glad I did, brings back memories of my childhood. It was delivered 1 day after I ordered it and I wasn't even expecting for it to come so soon, so I'm very happy.
