Wiring was easy - you only take out two screws at the cable end to access the terminals.Everything fits together well and it seems very solid and probably durable. The Orange and Black make it very visible.

Wanted to replace existing unit without taking the cable off the wall which had been tacked in position. Rewired the unit with existing cable. Screws to undo the block for wiring were very tights and easily damaged by the screwdriver although I was able to undo them eventually.
