Wusthof in drawer knife organiser in Beech- Holds up to 7 Knives

I haven’t yet had the opportunity to use it, but this was purchased for my new Wusthof knives in preparation for our new kitchen and I must say it is well built and designed.It’s big enough to fit my 26” Wusthof super slicer blade and I am looking forward to using this and my knives for many years to come.

Just had my Wusthof knives sharpened and wanted to make sure that they were stored safely whilst at the same time ensured that the blades would not be damaged. Wanted something to fit into a kitchen drawer so that the knives were accessible but not out on the worktop as with traditional knife blocks and this product fitted the bill perfectly! Neat, tidy and safe.

Its supposed to fit in your drawer and store you're knives safley which I have no doubt it will do and ws the main reason I bought it. After I opened it I was impressed by the quality I put my knives in it and decided not to put it in the drawer as looked very good. the way the knives fit also means you are not running them in and out a knife block which can dull you're knife edges. If it ws in the Drawer i would have gave it 4 stars but after seeing it on display and for easy access I gave it 5 stars as I loved the look

Like the other reviewers - I wanted my knives in a drawer - which I have customised to fit other items. I fiited my own kitchen and have gone over the top probably. Anyway - didn't want the knives in a conventional block. This drawer storage is attractive, well made and solid. It is however, over-priced for what it is - a contoured piece of wood with slots in it. If I had more time - I would have made one. It is a lot better looking than an Ikea equivalent which is literally half the price.

Does what it says -- nice and cleaner than using a knife block. Definitely a little pricey for what it is.

I am not convinced this is a genuine Wüsthof product as all the other products I have of theirs - including a knife drawer organiser that should be identical to this - are much higher quality than this. The product images show at least two different versions. The first image shows what I got - unsealed wood, with no plastic protection for the dowels that run side-to-side and a more angular design. What I have looks much more like the second image - sealed / waxed wood with plastic protection covering the dowels and a more curved design. The product also arrived damaged because it was only shipped with a thin cellophane wrapper and the wood was damaged so I had to return it. I would not recommend buying this unless the product images show the same product, and the one that's shown has sealed wood and plastic protection for the dowels.

Lovely knife block just wrong dimensions on Amazon. this knife block measures 100mm wide by 434mm long. it wedges in super tight in my kitchen draw which is 433mm(?) deep. so it does fit perfect in my draw but if the draw was shorter I would have to get the sander out. Great for Wusthof knives and ok-ish for Global knifes, just measure your draws twice before buying this

Meine Messer lagen über viele Jahre lose in der Schublade. Das hat weder den Messern, noch der Schublade gut getan.Mit dem Kauf einer neuen Küche war ich auf der Suche nach einer neuen Lösung. Ein Messerblock auf der Arbeitsfläche ist für mich keine Lösung. Dort werden die Messer und der Block zu schnell schmutzig.Dieser Schubladeneinsatz passt von der Länge hervorragend in meine Schublade. Das habe ich vorher natürlich gemessen. Es ist Platz für drei große und vier kleine Messer. Für mich ist das genau die richtige Größe, da ich auch nicht mehr Kochmesser besitze.Die Verarbeitung des Einsatzes gefällt mir sehr gut. Das Holz ist gut abgeschliffen. Es gibt keine Splitter o.ä. Die Messerklingen sind gut geschützt und haben auch ausreichend Platz.

Resulta un poco caro, pero la calidad es innegable. Madera pulida y pesada, sensación de solidez. las hendiduras son pasantes, de forma que si hay alguna gotilla de agua filtrará hasta el suelo. La disposición de cuchillos largos y cortos es muy buena, en casa las puntillas las usamos mucho, y tenemos cuatro, con lo que nos viene muy bien la parte superior de este soporte.Atención a las medidas, hay que ver la altura del cajón y el largo y ancho. Yo lo hice, sabiendo que habría de acoplar el largo troquelando un poco la curvatura en los extremos del moldeado que tengo como cubertero cubriendo la superficie de todo el cajón. Vamos, que medí antes, y sabía lo que tendría que hacer, y la verdad es que me ha quedado impecable, pero conviene que lo tengáis en cuenta.Por lo demás, los cuchillos que alojo no son wusthof, son unos zwilling pro (también serios) y se acoplan sin problemas.

Auf der Suche nach einer Alternative für einen Messerblock, der wieder Platz außerhalb von Schubladen verbraucht, bin ich auf Messer-Einsätze für Schubladen gestoßen. Nach längerem Vergleichen habe ich diesen hier von Wüsthoff genommen.Bisher bin ich begeistert:Der Einsatz ist etwas breiter und länger als ein handelsüblicher Schubladeneinsatz, passt aber noch leicht in alle normal großen Schubladen. Die Verarbeitung des Einsatzes ist sehr sauber und ordentlich.Die Messer lassen sich sehr gut rausnehmen und wieder in die vorgegebenen Schlitze einsetzen. Man sollte die Messer allerdings nicht zu senkrecht herausnehmen, da der Einsatz unten nicht geschlossen ist und daher man mit der Messerspitze die Schublade verkratzen könnte.Wir haben drei große Messer (davon 1 Santoku-Messer) und vier kleinere schärfere, besondere Messer untergebracht, die sehr gut auf den 3 durchgehenden Verbindungstegen (wohl aus einer Art Gummi) zwischen den Schlitzen aufliegen.Kleiner Hinweis: Man sollte bei der Bestellung beachten, dass nur Messer mit bis zu 26 cm Klingenlänge untergebracht werden können - sonst ist der Einsatz für alle üblichen Küchenmesser geeignet.
