EarSkinz AirPod Covers (ES3) - Blue - for Apple AirPods (1 & 2)

Even though low-priced I spent a lot of time before buying my first set and after reading the reviews my expectations were low. In among the good reviews there were enough negative contributions make me unsure of the efficacy and reliability. Frankly I can't understand why anyone would have a negative experience nor why their expectations were for anything other than what is delivered.They are VERY easy to fit. They do NOT split when removed. The sound quality is a little better than without, or at least different but if one is looking for something to make one's valuable AirPods more secure when exercising (I use mine at the gym) then they stop the little blighters slipping out of one's sweaty lugholes perfectly. They do change the sound, it's a little louder - not massively - but the bass and mid tones are improved so overall it's bit better and definitely no worse.I have used mine probably 20-30 times since I bought them and they were undamaged and working fine when I lost or mislaid one of them.I don't know why people complain that they don't fit in the charging case. The product info clearly states that and the case is not designed to accommodate the covers. I have removed mine every single time I've finished using them and refitted for not time...no bother at all. At c.£6.00 a shot these are very good value for money and easily replaced. Since the AirPods are c. £135/£150 to buy I can't imagine £6.00 is beyond the reach of most users.So ignore the negatives. These are great value for money, durable and do the job.

Before I bought these I was admittedly really disappointed with the AirPods. They didn't block out any background noise at the gym and they didn't feel very secure. I know the Pods aren't noise cancelling but I could hear the competing music from the speakers and a workout class going on, whereas even cheaper in-ears without NC blocked out these background noises. They looked cool but I was disappointed. I saw the covers recommended online and were suggested by a friend so I thought I'd invest to try and improve the experience. As soon as I put them on, I noticed a difference. The covers must make the Pods fit my ears better so there aren't competing sounds and it just sounds much better. They do interfere with the Pods recognising when they are in my ear and the pause/play function but my friend who has these says they haven't done so with theirs. If you aren't super happy with your AirPods, would fully recommend - the skins are a small amount of money to make them sound great and feel secure.

I purchased the Earskinz covers for my AirPod head phones as the Aipods were a little loose in my ears & I was worried about loosing one.They work really well, providing a more secure fit & the extra confidence I needed. They were quite expensive but very well made & easy to install. The sound quality is not reduced in anyway & I fact sounds richer to my ears. I only gave them a 5 star as you have to remove them to charge the Aipods in the charger. Not a major problem but having to remove covers means that they could get lost. Amazon’s usual excellent service on delivery. I would recommend these covers for anyone requiring a more secure fit for their AirPods. For me a brilliant product great fit but for others it might depend on the shape & size of your ears.

First of all the fit of AirPods is very subjective as ears vary in sizes and shape. I understand that AirPods fit 90% of ears, but mine unfortunately fall within the 10%. I would probably return the AirPods and go with a safer fitting option, but I love the convenience of them and they are fine most the time other than when I go to the gym (already had an airpod drop out once on treadmill). Also I have an apple watch and they are amazing alongside that.So I started looking at options to ensure the AirPods fit a little more secure. I tried earhoox and unfortunately they just made the fit far worse. So they were returned and I ordered these EarSkinz ES3. Well I have to say WOW, they really make a huge difference to the fit, and I also feel they make the sound quality improve, certainly on the bass levels.So all in all through my own experiences I would recommend these 100%.

Bought these as a more sturdy replacement for some DIY ones I’d made from foam earbuds (which fit in the case). Unfortunately these don’t and you have to take them off every time they need charged. I find this awkward as they are a snug fit when they are on the AirPods and the hole sensors need realigned every time you put them back on. This can be tedious and unless you get them just right they don’t function properly. If only Esrskinz had made the holes for the sensors bigger and made them from thiner silicon to be able to fit in the case (although this more to do with the design by Apple) it would have made a difference for me. Overall two stars given because they do reduce background noise and fit better.

My EarSkinz AirPod covers arrived today, having read the reviews I was slightly skeptical on how the would fit and sound.... well there was no need for me to worry, they took seconds to fit to my AirPods and adjust so that I didn’t lose any of the AirPod functionality when taking an AirPod out of my ear and the music pausing etc and they sound and fit in my ears great. I am thinking about getting a few more pairs as they are that good. Appreciate that you can’t charge the AirPods in the charger with them fitted but they take seconds to fit and adjust so that’s not an issue. Great product for those of you that have issues with the AirPods constantly having to be adjusted in your ears.

More comfortable than the standard apple fit and does largely prevent them from falling out so easily. Still get half the exterior unwanted noise though. Some improvement to sound quality as you can hear more of your sounds of course!

Awesome additions to the airpods! They fit better in my ear, reduce leakage and improve the sound.Only big downside: They don't fit into the charging case with the skinz on.

I found them to fit my ears perfectly. Makes a difference in the sound as it isolates the outside noise. The small logos on the sides are hardly noticeable. Found the materials robust as long as you treat them with respect. Could have included a small case as you haver to remove them for charging. Had a pill case that I used for mine. Again the only downside is that they must be taken off to get the air pods in the case to charge. Love the product. Would recommend.

Love the product! It works as advertised. The AirPods won’t fall off the ears when these are on. And the sound quality does improve as they help cutting outside noise.My only complaint is that the material they used could have been a bit better. I also have wing tips for my AirPods from another brand and the material they used are much softer and rubbery. Those are easier to install due to the material.I really like EarSkinz due to the design as they don’t feel bulky. They’re very comfortable but I would recommend they use softer material in the future to make them even more comfortable.Highly recommended!

I bought these because I already knew the first day having the AirPods I would already want something that helps improve both sound and fit.I listened to a few songs with and without the covers on. Without the covers the AirPods definitely sounds way more quiet with bass response being almost non existent compared to in ear headphones but this is mostly due to the universal fit nature and simplicity of the AirPods itself which. With the covers on the AirPods turn into the price you paid for them. Improved sound output and better base response. All this due to the covers causing more of a seal between the AirPods and your ear canal.Let’s be honest here. You bought a Apple product because you have other Apple products and they work well together sometimes. “You knew better”. Anyways great product going to need to buy more because why not? It’s cheap and there are different color options.Pros- Improved sound quality- improved fit and feel- Different colors to help you be different- Reasonably Priced.Cons- Easy to lose. (Just go buy a case to solve your first world problem)- Bonus - throw these on the Apple included EarPods and question why you would need to buy anymore in ear headphones.
