Bit too heavyweight to replace smaller kitchen knives. Does well with heavier weight tasks though
Well made. Sharp knife. Handy sheath for protecting blade in drawers, but mind you don’t sever the retention strap that holds knife secure in sheath. I found the knife too large for cutting apples and other fruit in the hand - due. I think , to the width and length of the blade. It was also awkward cutting vegetables- the blade stuck frequently in potatoes and when twisting the knife to release, the potato it ended up splitting the veg rather than cutting it. I think that is due to the width and the grind on the blade.I do like how the knife is put together. The hole and handgrip site comfortably in my quite large, shovel like hand but for some strange reason I get the impression this wasn’t designed as a household kitchen knife, it is too heavy duty. There will be a place for the Fubinaty knife. I imagine it will be very handy jointing poultry or larger cuts of meat.

It is not sharp from new out of the box.
Fairly weighted knife and nice to handle. Packaging was OK. Why the 3 stars you may ask. Simple answer is as an advertised sharp knife this fell well short of expectations. It could hardly cut a tomato without squishing. I was hoping for new razor blade sharpness but what I actually got was plastic knife quality instead. Took me 15 mins with a quality sharpener but I shouldn't have to do this on a knife where they boast about how good it is. It's OK if your happy to put quarter of an hour in corrective measures but to use straight out the box isn't going to produce the results it proclaims. Disappointed.
