Not sure but it about 80-85 MM. but the base can be at set at varying distances you have to choose which suits you best.

Probably, but you'll need to drill holes in the bench to match the feet and coach bolt it in place.

Q: Will M10 sized bolts fit in the holes to secure the vice to a bench?

Yes that is the size that I used.

Q: If I use this to hold wood in position while i plane will it leave clamp marks?

Yes. In order to avoid this, use something soft in the jaws of the vice to cushion between the jaws and the wood.
