Very comfortable in the hand during use.
I needed replacements for my old cutters which were broken, so I ordered 2 as replacements. When these arrived I was surprised to see the metal inserts surrounding the blade, this keeps the blades tight in the housing when in use so the blade doesn't move when putting pressure on the blade. It's comfortable to hold in use. The knife has cut through thick rubber flooring, carpet, soft drink cans, thick cardboard and I have even used it for scoring cut lines on wood when I couldn't find my pencil and they were clearly visible. A very good knife at a very good price. I am glad I bought 2 and I will order 2 of the smaller knives now.

Well built. Sturdy. The only craft knife you will need.
My wife threw out my 20 year old kraft knife so this was it's direct replacement solely based on reviews. The technology has changed over the two decades. This knife was purchased initially for the steel sleeve housing around the blade. Plastic always splits so that was my main priority. You need a steel sheath. I like the sturdyness of this knife. It is also nice and smooth, design wise. The blade length is adjusted by depressing the nearest end of the black slider, so basicly it is a ratcheting system. What a great idea. More interesting is the inner storage space for three spare blades. This is accessed by sliding the end piece nearest your hand in an upwards direction. Nice touch. If you are looking for a good craft knife to cut anything from paper to carpets, this will do the job perfectly.

Excellent product.
Comfortable in the hand. Feels sturdy, and therefore gives confidence in use. I use it with paper and card and a steel rule for guidance. Cuts cleanly and precisely. I'm confident it will give me good service for many years. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Brilliant knife, has been well used already
I bought this as I'm disabled and get a lot of deliveries in cardboard. It's brilliant and cuts through it like butter! Makes short work of boxes and has been a godsend for me! I used this type of knife when working in retail and you do have to be careful as it could cause a nasty injury if not given respect! But I am rheilled with it and the extra blades I purchased means we will be happy together for some years!

Not quite as good as I thought for Wet Wall Paper cuts but better than the norm
I bought this product if the vain attempt to making life that little bit easier when wall papering especially around tricky features such as light and sockets fixtures or even trimming excess edging. Having used in the past scissors, scalpels or even standard Stanley knives I was really looking for that trimming tool that cuts the wall paper that has been pasted without sticking and tearing. Overall I'm glad I purchased this product as it never broke the bank and to be fair it improved the finish even if there was the odd pull still on cheap paper so take care. What I found myself doing was using the tool as a scoring tool for corners and the reverting back to some long scissors on long edges where the excess paper needs to be trimmed. Tip - after use take extra care when cleaning and drying the blade, this prolongs the blades sharpness and also removes sticky paste which will stick and pull on the next paper you attempt to cut but take extra care as these blades are MEGA sharp. At this price (Sub £5) its definitely a good addition to your wall papering kits, would I pay any more than £5? doubt it thus the rating.
